Orange Pi: Problem with USB on all latest images

Hi.

Not so far downloaded the latest available isos for Orange Pi (the very first version) - usb not working - for example for Logitech wireless keyboard or mouse.

In the past I've already reported this problem - there was fix.

Is it possible to fix again?

PS Why there is no separete image for Orange Pi? Why banana pi image?

Thanks in advance.

Please provide more data:

- what kind of power supply do you use and how do you power the board?

- on exactly which images you encounter this problems: legacy or mainline?

- please provide logs: armbianmonitor -u

If you use legacy kernel, try this (follow orangepi download page instructions):

ln -fs bin/orangepi.bin /boot/script.bin

Reboot.

Hi.

1. I'm using original Orange Pi power supply (2.1 A).

2. All images currently available on Orange Pi page.

3. How can I provide this output, if Logitech wireless keyboard does not function?

Thanks.

PS So - why there is not separate Orange Pi images?

There are two alternatives:

  • serial console login
  • remote login via SSH. Plugin Ethernet and check your IP on your router, than connect with putty or similar ssh client.

A20 Oranges are among rare boards and since they are virtually the same as Banana Pi, we share the image. Next reason is building time and server space ...

It least it detects receiver.

Which disto you can recommend for desktop usage?

PS And many thanks for your efforts to provide this sw support.
