  1. not knowing much about the inner workings of linux I cannot say I _really_ know what this hack does exactly but I do understand the concept. That said: is this strongly depending on hardware or does it work above a hardware abstraction layer? What I am asking is: will this patch work on other processors as well i.e. on an orange pi zero (Allwinner H2+)?
  2. Hi I want to use my orange pi zero to stream music from my NAS and some internet radio stations. I want a good remote control from my phone so I want to use yatse to control Kodi. I installed xfce4 and vnc and I am able to connect to the desktop environment. I then installed kodi but it does not work: Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":10.0" I checked and randr is actually not missing, just not loaded. I tried to get it running for the past two hours but no luck. I am not very familiar with linux so I am stuck at this point. From what I read it must have something to do with the graphics adapter drivers. Any help would be appreciated. Or if there is an alternative to Kodi with a great remote app...
