  1. I have checked, the detect pin is working fine. Now i only need to test, whether will it boot or not. Last thing i was doing on the system, was installing wifi access point and a usb install on a usb attached. I wonder, whether these actions are responsible for not booting in any way.
  2. Not yet. But is it possible to do it with the internal eMMC also, to connect orangePI directly to another PC, to do the thing tkaiser mentioned?
  3. I have the diagnostic in the first post, if you could take a look at it. I have also attached the .tty file into this post for you. Yes, I have tried usb-ttl debug, but i can't figure out what should I do to recover the system. orangepipc.tty
  4. Its booting something, but it doesnt react to the sd card inserted. I keeps repeating the sequence i posted in the beginning. Dont know why it wont boot from sdcard. I checked it is bootable. And the screen remain black. No text, no nothing, only modifies the screen frequency and resolution, thats all. The ethernet ports leds are on. This is whats going on, nothing else. I see forward getting a new one.
  5. I was runnimg it from the internal 8GB mmc. It seams that i messed it up really bad.
  6. wanted to make a system install to USB pendrive, but aborted it. Now it wont boot at all , but i managed to check out what may be the problem with the help of uart and the following came out: Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems: - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline) - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?) - Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?) - Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev) ALERT! 8. I will try as soon as possible, but now I have another issue. I wanted to make a system install to USB pendrive, but aborted it, not I managed to check out what may be the problem with the help of uart and the following came out: It goes in cycles, like the system would be corrupted or something.
  9. Hi, my problem is that I can't figure out why doesn't wifi access point doesn't show up, after setting up neither with Config utility from the desktop, neither manually from the website documentations help. What am I missing here? First, the Config utility that I'm using it asks me to reboot every time I set it up successfully, but after reboot it doesn't appear anywhere, neither my smartphone won't find the ARMBIAN connection. Second, I tried the way it is documented on the websites help section on how to set up an access point. I've changed the required files with nano, copied and nothing. I haven't used wired internet connection just using my home wifi connection to expand to a hotspot. Can anyone help me out with this? I want to use the orange pi as wifi range repeater, because my original wi-fi routers' range is just not enough for the whole house.
  10. Does this switch necessarily need to be a hardware switch? Is it by all means programmable inside the Pi PC+, to make it a software switch of some kind? Or I am knocking on walls instead of doors?!
  11. Thank you for this schematic, but one thing still isn't clear, how am I supposed to connect this and how to add into scripts? The GND should remain as it is now? and the 5v should be connected to pin17? Don't really understand this? Where do i need to put those 2 resistors? Those resistors how strong should be? So, probably this is why my oPI won't shutdown completely, because it continuously gets power, right?
  12. Here's the proof how it connected to the GPIO pins: but maybe I have found the solution myself here -> Shutdown Button See the pictures below.
  13. I have an issue with armbian installed oPI PC+. I have it in a case with a cooling fan installed and connected to 2 GPIO pins. My question is: could the cooling fan connection be the cause for my oPI PC+ won't shut down from the power supply and keeps running in the background after i shut down armbian? Any suggestions, I haven't tried starting without the cooling fan yet.
  14. Hey everyone! I just got myself hooked up with an Orange Pi PC+ and I was wondering is it possible to send files over the usb-ttl dongle just like in Windows Explorer, from my pc onto the eMMC or the external sd card, which is in the slot. I am using TeraTerm as console. It always boots up in boot0 mode. I have attached a piece of the log, that I've managed so far. Regards. putty.log EDIT: In teraterm there is an SSH SCP Send-Receive window, with path choises, but it doesn't seem to work. Couldn't transfer any file from the pc to the sdcard. Any thought, ideas?! Without using card reader at the moment. EDIT: I have tried connecting with OTG, but couldn't get the hang of it either. com9 oPIPC.txt
