OPI+ 2 Overscan issues

Hello All,

 

First of all excuse me if such topic exist.

I am using the Desktop version with legacy kernel provided from Armbian - https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-plus-2/

I have tried to fix my overscan issues on my SHARP LC-42ADE-BK from the Aquos series.

I had zero luck in resolving the issue. I used the documentation available on the Sunxi-wiki for FEX configuration ( http://linux-sunxi.org/Fex_Guide ) scavanged the internet for all kinds of information for configuring the scale/overscan etc. with u-boot/fex and such.

Unfortunatly my TV does not let me choose Aspect ratio or such fucntions when my Laptop or OPI device is pluged with HDMI to it, which is very strange.

In my investigation I have found that in U-boot img you have the functionality to set an everscan, but from what i saw Armbian image is not using it or I'm just a dumb mother fucker

Tried other native ressolutions with no luck, my device boots-up but no image is displayed i get an image only in 720p60

 which is overscaned.

 

Please help me in resolving this issue. I thin that if this issue is resolved more ppl that have the same problem can use the sollution or it can be implemented in future Armbian releases
