julius Posted April 15, 2017 Share Posted April 15, 2017 hi, i would like to make videos with a orange pi as basis and would like to start with this camera: which came with my pi. thought it would run out of the box...but it doesnt after looking trough the forums it is obvious that camera support seems to be quite problematic but i found this thread: where at the end the user: IgZero says that he got some camera (maybe not mine) working with 5.20 and then updating it to the current version. but he does not say if he started with a debian or ubuntu based source.... any ideas on how to get this camera going? im also willing to flash another, even older version of armbian to the sdcard. just need picture output. Make sure to use a player which uses vdpau for encoding. (For instance mplayer, but I am not sure if vdpau works with mainline kernel, I only tested an csi cam on legacy) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
