BPI-M2 eth0 not working properly

Hello, I recently purchased a Banana Pi M2, and downloaded the latest desktop image to my SanDisk 32gb MicroSD card.  Everything boots-up.  However, the only interface that seems to be able to get onto the internet properly is wlan0 (Wireless).  Ethernet, regardless of DHCP (registers properly) or Static does not seem to route properly.  For example, I am not able to ping or SSH the device from another PC, and the Pi (itself) cannot ping/access any local IPv4 address as well.  Internet access fails, and points to DNS not working properly (even though servers are specified).  Tried many different methods, including taking management/control away from "NetworkManager", but have not helped at all.

Network switch is good, and other devices can access the internet with no problems.

I ultimately need to get the eth0 interface to work as my primary so i can completely disable wlan0.  Was purchased because it supports gigabit.
