  1. Did you try the option "Reboot from android" in the shutdown menu from Libreelec to get back in row?!
  2. Hi, as I could read in your log-text: "[18:12:07 469][HUB4-2][Inf]--Device is removed" it seems your cable is buggy, your USB doesn't provide enough power or something else with connection is wrong. Maybe try all other usb ports and if you don't succeed another cable. The behaviour of the tool is sometimes a bit odd: I got two identical Thinkpads but on one any Flashing just works with one USB3-port, but on the other it works only with the usb2 port on the other side of board. In normal operation on both laptops I got no problems with usb devices on all ports. So try out all combinations of ports, ideally without an external hub(for me it stopped often while burning using a hub-direct connection worked)...
  3. ..but the format is shown after probing with ffplay -decoders So I think it is maybe more a problem that anything is missing to use the video codec?!
  4. ..for me also none of the m2m-variants work properly with the provided ffplay. The "best" result was to get the sound playing, but instead of video some kind of multicolored waveform is displayed instead of video content. Mostly I get the segfault too when trying to play with any m2m-option. Without m2m(or other parameter) it works basically(seems to drop some frames..) okay.
  5. For me the 4.19.6-versions(installed the 1205 now on emmc) work much(10-15%) faster than those with 4.19.2/4.20-next versions. Everything is really responsive and works well on x96mini(ethernet connection + usb sound, but I didn't test internal av for weeks) . Thanks for your work! Sorry, but I know just some basics about ffplay usage. What do like to test/discover?! P.S.: By the way it seems that start up of login screen appears around 20-30 seconds faster if I move the mouse around while boot messages run through and the black screen is shown..
  6. Hmm, if those two didn't work, maybe try all others too until you find one which boots.. maybe you lack of some features, but try to find one which works somehow. Maybe try one of the older s905 Armbian 3.14 Kernelversions with 3.xx Kernel and the dtb which works on core/libreelec with your box(got on an H2+-Box also a armbian running, but with older kernel as it works better for me there..)?!
  7. Then give it a try! ..if it works with one or the other dtb for s905d perfect, if not you loose 30-60 minutes as you could re-format your sd card if it fails (and original system is still working)..
  8. Did you try to use the dtbs for p230/p231 (which are for s905d) delivered with the builds by specifying in uEnv.ini ile on boot partition after writing image to card/pendrive?
  9. @balbes150 I found out, that my monitors second HDMI where the inverted colors appear is actually a DVI input with an (detachable) HDMI adapter. On the "real" HDMI armbian starts with normal colors. So I just switched libreelec and armbian boxes' cables and now both display signal perfect without inverted colors (after boot up). So I can confirm that (real) HDMI works flawless on tx3 mini & x96 mini with armbian 5.67 build. btw. I ran into the problem that armbian from emmc didn't start up after accidentally hitting "boot from android" on a libreelec from sd card. I solved it with an armbian re-install on emmc from last installs sd card,. It was okay as I didn't make too much changes since then, but I wonder if there is a easier way to stop the box searching a bootable android after provoking "boot from android" (by mistake)?!
  10. @balbes150 Armbian on tx3 mini works like on x96mini(where I keep armbian on internal). I didn't see any differences in using khadas/p281/p281tx3 dtb files. On tx3 i got also the inverted colors on boot until I unplug and reconnect HDMI . For analog sound I need usb soundcard as expected, wifi runs perfect with cheap usb wifi r8188eu stick, but I prefer ethernet. On tx3 mini the box always reboots too-Power off works here also just mechanically via switch on ac outlet. I didn't have a look on getting remote or front display work, but armbian works beside of these little quirks pretty good.
  11. I tried bionic desktop 5.67 181117 with meson-gxl-s905x-khadas-vim.dtb on x96mini from micro sd card. It worked pretty well but not that good like with the dtb for p281(there usb seems much more responsive and the blue front led lights up when system is started) but I also had there the inverted colors until de- and reconnecting HDMI and the device restarted automatically like always on armbian instead powering off. No real difference for me if khadas or p281 dtb. The only build from your archives where power off works on x96mini is this libreelec: Running on LibreELEC (balbes150): devel-20181114083516-cbfbde4 9.0, kernel: Linux ARM 64-bit version 3.14.29. There it was no problem to activate original remote with attached config file and setting in rc_maps.cfg ..tomorrow I will try the newest armbian build on one of the tx3minis with khadas/p281/tx3mini dtb files too and report. @sekarpdkt Did you try to set mac/network settings in armbian_first_run.txt on Boot before first run?! ir-x96.conf
  12. Thanks for the info, then it seems I have to keep the switch on power adapter, but that is okay. I had also a quick look on the link, but that seems a bit too much fiddling just for testing it, then I will live with the Krypton on armbian(for real kodi I use libreelec lapotato-007-build). Is there a way to update the armbian builds, or is it mandatory to do always a fresh install?!
  13. Thanks to balbes for his builds! Actually I'm running the 181113 Ubuntu desktop from internal memory and testing the 181114 version of it from micro sd card on an x96mini s905w p281 2/16 tv box. Armbian runs pretty nice with Ethernet connection, but with some little issues: Most annoying is the color inverted pink-green screen on every boot up. After re-plugging HDMI the colors are okay, but that prevents to place the box in shelf. I got the same issue on balbes' libreelec builds, but there colors are right automatically after kodi splash screen coming up on x96mini and tx3mini. Not at armbian where I always need to unplug and reconnect HDMI to get a proper color. Is there a simple way/setting to get rid of the inverted picture on start (of x)?! When I power the x96mini off, it always reboots. To get it really off I use a switch on outlet for power supply, but is there a way to disable this permanent reboot behavior? Because I got no sound output on av port I use an USB sound card as workaround. Most likely the output is routed via HDMI, but as my fhd monitor lacks of speakers I can't proof it. Is there a way to show and control all possible output paths (analog stereo & HDMI) like in recent libreelec builds (with 4.x kernel) as on armbian HDMI and or switches for HDMI aren't shown in pulse audio, alsa or any other mixer? I know, that there are better ways like libreelec or even android to use kodi on those boxes, but is there a way to get a working kodi 18 beta running on these 5.64 armbian builds? The 17.6 from synaptic install works sometimes a bit sloppy but especially for radio/mp3 pretty well. Sure a keyboard-mouse-combo is best for most tasks, but my last question atm is how to get the original remote working on these armbian builds? Which debs (from where) needs to be installed and which style and name is needed for the config file (got for the pretty similar p281 tx3 mini minimum 4 different remote configuration files in very different code styles for several libreelec versions..).
