  1. the version you are using is unrelated to this topic.
  2. See the first message of this topic, there are the necessary links to all available versions.
  3. In fact, it can be considered the same thing for discussion. Use versions of images from this theme. https://bbs.stationpc.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=323&extra=page%3D1%26filter%3Dauthor%26orderby%3Dlastpost
  4. This topic is only about OPI5. I don't have OPi5b, OPi5+, I have no idea what works there or not.
  5. It is unclear in what context this error is. Show the full UART log
  6. Test results on a 4K monitor with the highest available resolution.
  7. I launched the system on Station M3 on a 4k monitor (desktop resolution 4096×2160), checked the full-screen playback of all formats via MPV that I use (including 4k), everything is played without brakes. The temperature is 35-50 degrees (the fan is running at minimum rpm). I use a simple USB sound card to output sound. Similarly, everything works smoothly and without brakes when using KODI and copes with all the found video decoding formats in SW mode without any problems (there is enough performance).
  8. ver 20231012-edge kernel 6.5 ver 20231011 mesa 23.3.0 for panthor for more details, see the link to deb with the new mesa in this topic
  9. After installing mesa with panthor support, I installed the usual apt command from KODI network repositories. Checked his work. Surprisingly, the interface works well and allows you to play any video in full screen without any problems. The information in KODI shows that the Panfrost G610 driver is being used. Video decoding is done by SW (there is no HW support for FFMPEG yet), but even in this mode everything works smoothly. As a sound, I use the simplest USB sound card for $1.5
  10. Ver 20231012-edge with core 6.5 works HDMI LAN USB SATA\NVMe. add mesa panthor https://bbs.stationpc.com/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=323&pid=1515&fromuid=636914
  11. The glmark2 results above are obtained from running gnome, the system starts and works without problems, including HDMI (left main port), LAN (DHCP), USB are working. If it doesn't start for you, show the full UART log, without it, it's empty chatter. follow the instructions for installing the mesa package with panthor exactly. If you don't like it, don't use it It's a lie, everything works fine for me and a number of other users. Follow the instructions and descriptions from this topic exactly (high-quality media SD cards or USB flash drives, power supplies without PD shit, the correct uboot in SPI, the order of launching and installing packages, etc.). If you want to get such options, transfer 1000 euros to the Armbian account or contact the developers of Collabora and pay them for this work (at the same time ask the employees of Colabora how much effort, time and money they spend on developing HDMI and GPU support for rk3588).

  13. All ver for Firefly-rk3399 https://disk.yandex.ru/d/oa3Y-KFhodqAOg
  14. A strange model, there are not many components. Now I have compiled new versions 20231010 current (6.5.5) and edge (6.6.-rc5) for Firefly-rk3399 and checked out the launch. Everything starts from the SD card and works without problems. I checked the installation on eMMC - it works. These images have a built-in u-boot, which ensures that the system starts even if it is not on the eMMC. Try to completely erase the eMMC and check the launch from the SD card. If the system does not start, the UART console is needed, without it it is impossible to find out the cause of the error. By the way, the built-in u-boot supports displaying the process on the HDMI monitor screen and selecting the system. If you do not have any display at startup, it means that u-boot does not start (or does not work). Perhaps a special u-boot is needed for your specific model.
  15. Have you tried writing to an Armbian SD card from this theme and trying to launch it?
  16. If this is a core from my EDGE images, there is no pancsf support in this core, acceleration will not work. Or are you using your 6.6 kernel with the pancsf driver added ? If you use the latest version of CURRENT and install the specified DEB with mesa, the acceleration should work.
  17. This is an experimental core, no guarantees of the operation of the equipment. I'll check if it's possible or not.
  18. Instructions for updating u-boot in SPI\MTD for direct launch from NVMe. https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=18344&pid=120041#pid120041
