That is hypotesis that work on the project is paid. Besides this forum, there is also a constanf flow of emails with pleads / demanda to support this and that. There is not a single cent of coverage. Only dealing with this represents several hours which I have no intention to cover from my personal pocket - if I started to deal with them. In the past I did, now they only get URL with support terms.

If people have demands, they should cover that or do 180 ...  I am sure all developers around Armbian could contrbute from our pockets and also cover bandwith, electricity and all 3rd party help that we hire to surive. Solo that is several times more then Librelec. I used to work several years for full time to build the basic structure, today "just" 10+ hours to maintain it, every day. For nice part I don't need anything, but sadly at the project this size, not everything is nice to do. Or cheap enough that we can cover from our wages with hope that wife doesn't see how much we waste for this.

Working free of charge to support your commercial project? And you are upset if you are told to fuck off?

We are doing things for free, but the problems is constant game of abuses from your side. If you are not such person, there are right enough of them to cause us serious problems and forcing us to question why we actually work on this.

Once user starts to demand and blackmail, FOSS philosophy fails. The moment when user of freely available software forgets that is only our good will to help them, relationship breaks down. When there is no respect, there is no trurst. And since I don't trust you, we will not do business together. You can't hire me but you can try to patch this relation ship with a donation. If you alreday abused hours of my time and stole my attention, 100 USD will not patch that up. Well, you are not forced, its optionally. Its your personal choice. So far no one has contrubuted "four figure donations" to repay his damage.

The biggest part of this problem is not dealing with hardware, but with constantly unsatisfied people, which generate stress, with end users that sucks out our energy, waste support time, are lazy like to do invest minimal efforts into search engines and contribute nothing to our common. They - consumers - want to uset the device and they want that we sort them all problems. Related and unrelated.  Again on my/our wife and my/our childrents expense.

    Support terms are clear:

Supporting our large build system is hard to support free of charge, but we do.

Can we support 1000 people project or other 1000 people freely available appliacitions that are shipped with Armbian. Absolutely not. Not under any conditions.

This also includes the financial loss in time volunteering to the project while these skills could be used to earn real money in the same time but decide not to.

Funny thing is, I haven't seen any outrage about HK using startup protection on "foreign" hardware in its u-boot, which causes the firmware in the device to be destroyed if it's not HK hardware. Where are you defenders of freedom ? I have long seen that most of all squeal about the violation of rights of those who themselves are engaged in theft and piracy, that would hide behind the freedom of their personal dirty deeds to get their personal benefits at someone else's expense. Yes, I warn all fans of freebies in advance that they would not try to hack and try to run my future versions, which will be designed for specific supported models, on their unsupported hardware and for all the consequences of disrupting the operation of their devices, they will be to blame themselves.

Armbian does not support RaspberryPi's of any kind.
Besides that all clairvoyants are out of office today. (to say: insufficient information for further investigation).
The topic title is very inexpressively.

Pay attention. This is the latest version of ArmbianTV images, where there are files for AML. The following images will not contain this data.

I tried to register, but so far I haven't succeeded. The system says that the user already exists, but does not allow you to log in.

I was able to enter. I will understand further how to use it.

I did not wait for the release of the official version of the image for SPI with full support for all options for custom startup (SD USB eMMC PXE). As a temporary solution I have gathered the image of "spiboot.img " to update SPI content with a new download option (which supports all described devices). Now, to enable all devices in the startup process (including the ability to directly start the system from USB media) does not require a UART console. All operations can be easily performed by a regular user using standard methods (which are well documented on the WIKI). The update procedure is described on the WIKI. File "spiboot.img" (with all options except Piteboot) can be downloaded here. Pay attention, this version is not Piteboot. During build there was an error with the build kernel, I did not fix  (I don't use Piteboot). If somebody need Piteboot, I recommend not using my version.

For the statistics, to make sure everything is working correctly, you can check the new SPIBOOT on your model N2 ?

    Release Date: 2020-11-XX
    Release Candidate Branch Link: TBD
    Release Changelog: TBD

The goal of this thread is to discuss testing, bugfixes, and the overall quality of the release. Once the release is complete, this thread should be locked and unpinned.

Our next release date is coming and perhaps its time to discuss what to push into 20.11, what not, resolve open questions and distract from most used keyword for past few weeks.

Meeting on IRC in Saturday, October 3rd, at 2 pm GMT is being prepared - this is reasonable good timing for US / EU folks.

    Agenda:

check meeting attendees (if nick is not self explanatory, add your forum/Github handle. Just say hi or something) present tasks, bugs or project you are working on (open discussion if there will not be much people, otherwise meeting officer call people out). Jira should be open in not already. cycle Jira backlog: discuss task / bug (one at a time) assign to person / release / tag re-prioritise cycle open issues and PR on build engine board status update on download pages and build engine (wip, supported, eol) choosing upcoming release officer (so far it was Igor and Lane) misc / open discussion
    Tips:
when you got a voice, be concise (1-2 min) and make it clear when you stop. ("No more, I'm done") channel is recorded so a summary and adjustments to Jira can made afterwards, ideally along with the meeting Meeting location is IRC channel #armbian on Freenode. (previous session as an example)
Ideally it would be that prior to this meeting we all update tasks/project statuses in Jira - who still does not have access shall PM to @lanefu or @Igor - reviewing, prioritising and releasing goes faster this way.

You can use any system, this is your own business, but I delete all messages where links are given or elements are discussed (what and how it works etc) on corelec. I have good reasons for this, but I won't explain anything to anyone. If you are not satisfied with this, you not use ArmbianTV.

p/s/ I think this discussion can be closed.

The simplest thing is to try to take a working u-boot from any working Armbian image (for details on how to pull out u-boot and use it in another image, see this topic earlier).

Starting from USB is possible, but with the described two options. I think the TWRP startup comes from u-boot which is in eMMC (in service mode).
To completely clean eMMC, you can use the USB Burn Tool (with certain options, the firmware file is not needed).
This is cheating. H6 can't work with 4 GB , this is a hardware limitation. See the topic in the section Allwinner H6, where the developers describe this problem.
