  1. "Tony MAC.; If you can build it yourself I've just pushed an update on the K2 to go to u-boot 2018.03, which has a ton of improvements to the handling of memory/device drivers. I need to do some more tests on K2, but since it was broken before I felt the limited testing I've done so far has been sufficient". Yes please i will build the image myself
  2. I reported the armbian to the linux distrowatch portal. The rankings are raspian and bananian and there is no armbian. www.distrowatch.com sent to .: jsmith@distrowatch.com https://www.armbian.com/ Hello Why this distribution is not in the rankings ? They have existed since 2013 the best linux distribution for single board computers... You rank raspbian and you dont rank armbian ????? best regards RADEK FROM POLAND

  4. this is from nano pi k2 - for odroid c2 i already formatted micro-sd card and removed bionic from using

  6. guidol it is no problem with automatic upgrades .. i usually uninstall unattended-upgrades and I dont use it. OK finally.; I report that such a problem exists and I ask you to keep this in mind as the bionic will come out of the test. There are many images that I do not have to immediately have ubuntu 18.04. The problem concerns the odroid c2 and nano pi k2, kernel 4.14, armbian kernel more than 5.38. Thank you for your attention, I wish you a good evening.
  7. I see that we boast about the number of single boards I have: VS Mecool RK3399 FireFly RK3399 OrangePI RK3399 , Odroid XU4 Asus Tinker MIQI Cubieboard 4 Khadas VIM2 FA NanoPiM3 Rock64 Odroid C2 FA NanoPI K2 Khadas VIM1 Minix Neo X7 Cubieboard 5 BananaPiM3 Pine H64 , Le Potato, Renegade from Libre computers , Orangepi Lite 2 Orangepi OnePLUS RaspberryPI 3+ OrangePI Prime OrangePIPC2 Pine A64-LTS OrangePI WIN PLUS BananaPIM64 Pine 64+ FA NanoPIA64 NanoPIM2 BananaPiM2Ultra OrangePi2PlusE OrangePi2 BananapiM2+ Odroid C1+ Hummingboard BananaPiM2 RaspberryPi2 Olimex Lime2 Creator CI20 , ( Nano pi K1 plus - iam waiting for delivery form china. ) I use it in production on a daily basis tasks and I can tell every model which one is sucked up, which overheats, does not hold the cpu clocking that the image that works on it. I can also say a lot about micro-SD cards. I use finally only sandisk and samsung.
  8. memory is good. I hava 6 images on 6 different micro-sd cards. 1. Armbian 5.38 Jessie XFCE / 2. Android 6.0.1 / 3. Harkernel Ubuntu 16.04 Mate 1.12.1 / 4. Armbian 5.30 XFCE Ubuntu 16.04 / 5. Armbian 5.43 Debian 9 XFCE / 6. Armbian 5.44 Ubuntu 18.04 XFCE ... sory android not that story but works perfectly. Ubuntu 16.04 Mate from Hardkernel team. works perfekt. Armbian Jessie 5.38 works perfectly but slowly maybe slow micro-sd... never mind no problem, - stmmaceth driver. All these images works but strange is that Armbian 5.43 Debian 9 is on meson8b-dwmac driver and works also !!!! Problem is Armbian 5.44 Ubuntu 18.04 - driver meson8b-dwmac.... lost connection very quickly 3-5 minutes... I have also Nanopi K2 Armbian 5.38 ubuntu 16.04 also driver meson8b-dwmac. also lost connection but after 10-15 minutes. Needs more time to crash. But this have wifi and i can switch to wifi. But this image hangs very often without purpose. I think when i use browsers. I really check everything. manualy configured eth0, interfaces, network manager install uninstall, edit resolv.conf... etc. Every time the same strange story. After reboot eth0 exist and when i run apt-get upgrade or apt-get install packages i have lost internet. Just doing nothing only fetching packages....
  9. on others images eth0 driver is stmmaceth.. and this driver works
  10. I checked the settings eth0, DNS, uninstalled even the network-manager, interfaces, even saved the resolv.conf settings in the head file. and I definitely say meson-driver loses eth0 in Armbian odroid c2 and nanopi k2. etho works about 5-10 minutes. After ping yahoo.com name or service not known - ping 192.168.1.1 destination host unreachable. With all valid eth0 settings. In nano pi k2 I can switch to wlan0 in the odroid I need to reset
  11. after all, you know that you do not have to. so I asked through curiosity
  12. if absolutely wrong why do I have problem? System lost eth0 connection after 3-5 minutes? kernel 4.14 odroid c2 armbian 5.44 bionic. I will try it fix tomorrow.... now i formatted micro-sd card
  13. Why dont you provide support to the Banana pi single boards ? Many of them very interesting. Support is also very weak and short. I know that the last 2 boards from bananpi were based on mediatek and realtek CPU. ( R2 W2 ) They was specialized single boards as router and storage NAS board. why not to try?
  14. I think this is the same situation as Nano pi k2. Kernel 4.14 does not working properly with amlogic S905 devices The latest armbian for Nano pi k2 also lost eth0 connection after 10-15 minutes
  15. Odroid C2 Armbian 5.44 Ubuntu- Bionic XFCE 4.12/ - 1. system lost eth0 connection after 5 minutes work ( DHCP or Static number IP ) 2. sometimes not reboot properly - i have to unconnected from power
  16. why wrong? I bought odroid c2 at the preoder. First img ubuntu developed by hard-kernel had bootini with section adjusting cpu speed from 1.536 to 2.02 MHZ. You was able to adjust many other speeds between 1.54 to 2.02. I remember this....
  17. First A55 chip, maybe not for SBC, but who knows :-))) https://www.cnx-software.com/2018/05/18/spreadtrum-sc9863-octa-core-cortex-a55-processor-is-made-for-lte-smartphones/
  18. On the oryginal hardkernel boot.ini Ubuntu Linux you can adjust amlogic S905 speed... up to 2.02 GHZ. But is not recommended. Default speed is 1540MHZ. on the way you have 1620, 1732 step i think up 28 or 56 Mhz... Allwinner sometimes does not inform customers at all about speed... You will learn about it from cpu-z on android or cpu-speed xfce-goodies addon on panel. Amlogic S905 is a qiute good chip. It so pitty does not work with 4GB ram - only 2... In my experience S905 is better then RK3328 at the same clock level.
  19. uname -a Linux nanopik2 4.16.0-meson64 #15 SMP PREEMPT Thu Apr 5 16:51:35 CEST 2018 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux linux-u-boot 5.38 and armbian-firmware 5.38 linux-xenial-root 5.38., armbian-tools-xenial 5.44, armbian-config 5.45 System is hanging from time to time. I dont know why... every next boot eth0 is loosing connection after 10 minutes, so i disabled et0 and use wifi.... Previous armbians have audio meson audio, now is dummy output - i have to use external usb sound card. I have tried images to ordroid C2 and lapotato but they dont work
  20. I see you gentlemen, you are going after nanopi k1 plus. But it was nice to finish the nanopi k2. Because it's in the testing phase and it's on the well-known Amlogic chip 905. By the way, I'm waiting for K1 - I already ordered :-)))
  21. on the orange pi download section there are debian jessie images with xfce 4 desktop. I mean for Orange pi one plus and lite2. Both H6 CPU. GPU driver exist, because they must have used it. Only audio is not supported. I have to used usb external audio card. These boards addicted only for server because 1 GB of RAM.
  22. When will it be avalaible make your own armbian on ubuntu 18.04? I have just upgraded from 16.04. When will it be avalaible to build armbian for bionic 18.04 for Allwinner H3 H5 A64 CPU?
