  1. In the latest armbian release (bullseye 22.11.1 with kernel 5.19) armbian-config seems to be updated, too. armbian-config lacks the "Install" section now, so it is impossible to install the bootloader to another media like SPI flash or SATA. I'll try another SD for the moment...
  2. Hi charly_53, perhaps you can switch to the previous kernel using the "armbian-config" utility (then navigate to System -> Other). Afterwards you could freeze kernel upgrades until the problem is solved kernel-side.
  3. Unfortunately this is still persistent for me. I did armbian-config ---> System -> Install -> Install/Update the bootloader on SPI/Flash but still rebooting is not possible. I have populated both SATA slots with a 1TB Samsung SSD. I can see a red LED flickering three times when HC4 is trying to reboot. But rebooting doesn't happen... I’m running Armbian 22.08.8 Bullseye with Linux 5.10.147-meson64.
  4. Thanks for your reply. I realized that docker was also installed when installing home assistant so I completely removed docker (by "apt remove docker-ce*") and did a "find" with *hass*. Afterward I removed all found *hass*-files manually. Worked fine.
  5. Hi all, I played around with home assistant on my Odroid HC1 (running NCP as main task) and now wanted to remove home assistant completely because I don't need it anymore. I tried to uncheck the software in Softy but that doesn't have any impact. How can I completely remove home assistant? Thanks!
  6. OK, stupid me, figured it out finally.... After upgrading to u-boot (or something) the PI got a new MAC and so a random IP from DHCP....that's all. Everything's ok now....LOL
  7. Same here, I can't access the Pi after reboot. So I can't grab a log...reboots every approx 30secs. SSH not possible.
  8. I'm sorry but I have a backup running now because I need my server for different services atm, but I will try again tomorrow or tuesday and can provide log then. Can you tell me how to grab a log? I'm not familiar with that. I upgraded from jessie 5.23 if that scenario can be tested, too. andy@orangepipc:~$ sudo dpkg-query -W -f='${Version}\n' linux-jessie-root-orangepipc [sudo] password for andy: 5.23 Thanks!
  9. Hi all, my orange pi pc ran into a bootloop after upgrading to 5.25... Here is the output of apt-get upgrade (1 package has been kept back, I don't know why): andy@orangepipc:~$ sudo apt-get upgrade Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Calculating upgrade... Done The following packages have been kept back: linux-jessie-root-orangepipc The following packages will be upgraded: armbian-firmware armbian-tools-jessie hostapd libgd3 linux-headers-sun8i linux-image-sun8i linux-u-boot-orangepipc-default sunxi-tools 8 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded. Need to get 20.7 MB of archives. After this operation, 3,171 kB of additional disk space will be used. After performing the upgrade the orange is stuck in a bootloop...
  10. I also tried to use teamviewer on armbian but failed. I now use logmein hamachi for connections to my orange from outside my home network. You have to install client software on both sides and then you can add your computer at school to your network, connection is via vpn. You could then simply use remotedesktop like VNC... https://www.vpn.net/ Refer to these articles when running on arm devices: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5207&f= http://www.orangepi.org/orangepibbsen/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1954 Good luck
  11. Hi all, can anyone suggest a dual band wifi module with ac standard working on armbian? Thanks!
  12. Hi guys, I backed up my sd content on a 32GB card using dd command with count argument. So I ended up with a 8GB image file to move to a 16GB card. How can I expand the filesystem on the 16GB card to fit its size after putting the 8GB image on it? Thanks!
  13. I stumbled upon another solution for me: LogMeIn Hamachi. It creates a VPN connection and I can remotely access my OrangePi using IP. The hamachi client for armhf works very well, I used a tutorial from raspberry forums and found useful tips in a thread in orangepi.org forums. So I can remotely wake my PC at home with my OrangePi (wake on lan) and then use Teamviewer Android client with my PC (Teamviewer ist most useful for me).
  14. Does not work on OrangePi PC jessie desktop. Installation works fine, but teamviewer doesn't start...global.conf seems weird to me...
  15. So I have to switch manually and configure my files again...no problem
  16. Is it possible to upgrade my running armbian server version to the desktop one? Thanks...
  17. Ok, thank you so far, my fan needs a minimum voltage of 5V to run so I can't choose...and need a transistor. Thanks guys
  18. Do you know if the GPIOs can supply some current like 10mA (is the transistor necessary)? Thats enough for my fan at 5V...
