  1. eg. https://solarianprogrammer.com/2015/01/22/raspberry-pi-raspbian-getting-started-sdl-2/ Has anyone tried this on Orange Pi's ?
  2. I am trying to compile such a program using SDL2, http://computingvoyage.com/2114/installing-sdl2-on-raspbian-jessie/ after the corresponding settings, the program successfully compiles and runs but receives the following message: Any hint?
  3. I guess it's not now, but there is a prospect. I think I buy myself such, so far I used OPi PC only.
  4. Thanks for info Igor, The big advantage of this card ( I suppose it also has a lot of disadvantages ) is that it has an LCD interface, probably the first such OPi. I'm curious what the displays will work properly. Also the difference between A64 and H5 is a little confusion for me
  5. There are no dedicated images for this card yet on armbian.com. Armbian is not yet fully tested on this board ?
  6. Eg. try etc/network/interfaces/: end restart

    Forum upgrade

Well, change from time to time are needed The first impression (constructive suggestions ) : - I do not see which topics I've read and which are not (2017.03.01 ---- now is ok) - Spacing between the threads and topics are to large (27-inch screen and see only a few responses - could be at least 2 times more - too much scrolling when reading ) generally large space, not enough content in it
  8. As I wrote at the beginning (please read), the suggestion applies to attach webmin to Armbian How to install I leave to developers of Armbian
  9. Hi, I would suggest that in Armbian use Webmin as default. - easy interface - very easy to check the status of Armbiana - easy to install basic services, eg. Ftp, samba There are many questions on the forum related to the different installations, using this program is much easier. How to install (Orange Pi PC ): (Webmin updates itself to the latest version - notification appears) sudo apt-get install -y perl libnet-ssleay-perl openssl libauthen-pam-perl libpam-runtime libio-pty-perl apt-show-versions python sudo wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/webmin_1.831_all.deb sudo dpkg --install webmin_1.831_all.deb access: (ignore https warning) https://your Armbian ip:10000/ to add something eg. samba - see unused modules
  10. I tested already 1280x800 resolution and works properly with my previous calculations. {HDMI1280x800_60, 0,83460000, 0, 1280, 800, 1680, 200, 64, 136, 828, 24, 1, 3, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0}, {{Video ID , 4 , 0, 96, 5, 3, 3, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 144, 64, 136, 32, 28, 1, 1 }}, PLL_VIDEO 334 In addition, I did the calculation in a different location and width of sync pulses (another school ) - it also works properly. {HDMI1280x800_60, 0,83910000, 0, 1280, 800, 1656, 32, 32, 312, 841, 17, 16, 8, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0}, {{Video ID , 4 , 0, 96, 5, 8, 3, 1, 16, 0, 1, 0, 120, 64, 56, 32, 41, 1, 1 }}, PLL_VIDEO 336 Personally, I am use this second setting. Can you add it to Armbian?

  12. Hi, I'm leaving for a few days , so given parameters it might be someone needed. For these parameters, display works with 1280x800 , but I do not know if these values are optimum values. I'll do some more tests after returning, but but for now it works correctly {HDMI1280x800_60, 0,83460000, 0, 1280, 800, 1680, 200, 64, 136, 828, 24, 1, 3, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0} {{Video ID ,4 , 0, 96, 5, 3, 3, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 144, 64, 136, 32, 28, 1, 1 }} PLL_VIDEO 334
  13. Hi, There is a lot of cheap 10.1 inches lcd on market, often have a resolution of 1280 x 800. I connected this lcd with h3disp using the mode of 1280 x 720 (720i). Everything works, but aspect ratio is wrong. (800->720) Is there a fast and simply possibility to set 1280x800 resolution in Armbian?
  14. No, I'm talking about the environment X (graphical desktop) manual start from the command line - not to start graphical desktop automatically on reboot. How to dissable graphical desktop startup on boot ?

  17. Hi, A few days ago using: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepibbsen/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1389&extra=page%3D1 and https://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic/1953-guide-configuring-orange-pi-pc-to-receive-irinfrared I did radio on Orange PC (using mpd), the volume is OK.
  18. Hi, Question to experts in linux I wrote a program© that directly draws / writes to framebuffor /dev/fb0 (LCD connected to the HDMI - Shows graphic reading temeperature DS1820, actual clock etc) What to do to disable writing to the same buffor by the system? Thanks
  19. Thaks for this Btw. Did Yoy try play stream from playlist ? (works for me: mpv --playlist = playlist.pls) but.. Do You know how to easy change to next stream from play list using IR ? (just kill and restart with new stream only metod?) Last news: I am fine now, I solved the problem and I use mpd, mpc for bacground playing music from playlist eg. begin prog = irexec button = KEY_CHANNELDOWN config = mpc prev & echo "prev music" >/dev/ttyS0 end
  20. Certainty is never, but this file seemed ok, only content was strange. I did not created this file. Armbian was compiled from sources some four months ago, is working fine (webmin, apache, ssl, mqtt server and many other things working 24/7) now IR remote control (Samsung) also work Maybe an error at compile time? file system error is not indicated
  21. btw. I changed the contents of this file and everything works, but why after the Armbian installation this file was so different from the target?
  22. try as root: sudo /root/jivelite/bin/jivelite
