  3. About RTL8703bs ... From LibreElec forum "TANIX TX2, DDR3, RTL8703 Wifi (unsure, if wifi will work)" I try LibreELEC-RK322x.arm-9.2-devel-20200301144541-b58333a-rk3229-tx2.img.gz And IT WORK !!! 8723cs, rtl8723ds loaded
  4. @fabiobassaSorry, but I do not have sufficient kernel assembly and firmware skills. And on Linux, almost every command has to be searched on google. If only to find step by step instructions. @MFaustdoes not fit on 2GB unfortunately. You can try to burn on a USB stick (may work, or maybe not).
  5. I found a 2GB card. If it fits (there seems to be more than 2GB copied) - I'll post
  6. Thanks fo image MXQ-4K with RTL8189ETV WiFi Have WiFi now T95N-RK3229_512X4-20170803_V1.5 , 2G DDR3 RAM, and RTL8703BS WiFi didn't work after modprobe 8723bs But no wifi
  7. I made two 4GB SD images using the method @hexdump. These are "focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop" with Libreelec bootloader for boot without erase eMMC. Just insert a card and turn on power. Under win os write " Win32 Disk imager" or "Rufus" . Google Drive https://drive.google.com/open?id=1uoQvZUUFZyCWYFtatlTSJvJSSjUuJYLm 10.04.2020 Since the changes from 04/10/2020 and the replacement of images on rk322x-box. Firmware replaced with new ones.
  8. Thank you so much guys for your work and perseverance. Unfortunately, I do not have sufficient knowledge and skills in this area. To make a grain of myself I can try to make images from the first post with the Libreelec bootloader for those who want to try running Armbian on their motherboard but don’t want to erase the flash yet. If anyone is interested.
  9. @jock @fabiobassa Thanks for reply Well means not fate In principle, I have several DIY on RTL8188 from Chinese tablets. It works with them, but only takes a USB port.
  10. Since I now had Linux, I decided to use the method of creating a SD with the LibreElec bootloader proposed by @hexdump (for which many thanks to him ). Everything turned out and now I tried to run Armbian on two more available RK3229 boards. 1. Another one T95N-RK3229_512X4-20170803_V1.5 , but have 2G DDR3 RAM, and RTL8703BS WiFi. 2. Named MXQ-4K with RTL8189ETV WiFi. On both boards, the system starts without visible problems, the built-in eMMCs are visible, but WiFi is not available (as expected). Is there in "Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_Xt-mx4vr-v01_focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop.img" Realtek WiFi ? Maybe try r329q img ? PS Look to /lib/modules/4.4.194-rk322x/kernel/drivers/net/wireless there is nothing suitable
  11. I will try. In principle, I was interested in the console distribution for the mini server, so the desktop was immediately turned off. Until too little time has passed from the successful launch of Armbian, the installation of Domoticz and later something else ... So a little later I will try to make a review. If before other pitfalls are not found.
  12. I can summarize the subtotal. My board T95N-RK3229_512X4-20170803_V1.5 (include SOC RK3229, RAM K4B2G0446D, Wi-fi SV6051P, this TV-Box Iconbit XDS8) works with the image Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_Xt-mx4vr-v01_focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop.img But need: 1. unblock SSV6051 in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-xt-mx4vr-v01.conf 2. manually set date-time , and/or install ntp client for correct update packages 3. surely something else............... Thanks @jock for the work and advice
  13. It turned out that packages are not being installed. Apt-get update apt-get upgrade does not work. Some kind of wrong repository? OOps... date/ time is wrong ! ( Sun 15 Mar 2020 09:23:54 PM EET). Maybe NTP wont work.. P.S. Solved Manually set date/time Update/Upgrade worked. Install NTP client : sudo apt-get install ntp ntpdate IMHO, image not include ntp client.
  14. @fabiobassa @jock Thank you, guys. Thanks to your advice, everything worked out. The image is loading, WiFi is working, the system is being transferred to eMMC. I'll try to install Domoticz and NodeRed now.
  15. @jock Thanks for the answer. I have an attempt to connect wlan0 fails . The next step is another problem. I tried to transfer the system to eMMC via armbian-config, but it turned out that the eMMC utility does not see it. When a USBstick is connected, I can transfer system to it, but still, without an external SD, loading does not occur. What am I doing wrong ?
  16. Launched R329q_focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop. As written jock in the first post , i remove from /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-r329q.conf ssv6051. Wi-Fi enabled now. And I managed to connect to the access point, though only in p2p0 mode.
  17. Thanks, Redownload legacy images and try . It's Booted completely, but no wifi (SV6051P). Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_R329q_focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop.img.log Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_Xt-mx4vr-v01_focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop.img.log
  18. There is video, but the download stops either with an error or without an error. I connected UART and recorded the logs. (Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_Xt-mx4vr-v01_focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop.img.log and Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_Xt-mx4vr-v01_buster_current_5.4.21_minimal.img.log attached) Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_Xt-mx4vr-v01_focal_legacy_4.4.194_desktop.img.log Armbian_20.05.0-trunk_Xt-mx4vr-v01_buster_current_5.4.21_minimal.img.log
  19. Hello ! I am trying to run on the T95N-RK3229_512X4-20170803_V1.5 board (RK3229, RAM K4B2G0446D, wi-fi SV6051P). I tried all the pre-assembled firmware from the first message. Cannot start completely. I recorded the TF-card with RUFUS. What program do you record the image? ps On this board, I managed to successfully run only Respeaker Core V2.0 (without wifi)
