  1. never mind... I guess there is no list of dongles that work and the links to get them at? Like mazon maybe?
  2. Just curious but has anyone tried 'apt-get dist-upgrade" yet on a X96max+2 ?
  3. Think this would work then? https://smile.amazon.com/TP-Link-Mini-Wireless-Supports-10-9-10-14/dp/B07PB1X4CN/
  4. Any recommendations ? Or a dongle you already use?
  5. I'm new here and I haven't spent the hours here like others have to see that @balbes150 has already said in some post here of the thousands posted to know he won't support the x905x3 SoC. That being said I am more then willing to take a fair stab at helping on getting proper support for it. I am no newbie at coding and anyone is more then welcome to google my name to just see my background in code languages, Scott Grayban. Is there a common thread to help newcomers to the android compiling kernel modules here?
  6. Thanks.... Can you repost and see if it gets deleted again?
  7. @Werner why is my account still Validating ? I can't find anything else I am supposed to do.
  8. Posts are being deleted without warning and no reason left. Very kiddie....
  9. I think someone deletes posts they do not like and thinks its funny.
  10. I take it you couldn't get this to work? What about the bcm4329-fmac module?
  11. Apparently no one knows how to either 1)fix this to work or 2)is to lazy to help any of us with the same problem if they have already fixed it. But it's not just the DTB file we need but the kernel mod also.
  12. Where are those instructions at? I can't find them.
  13. Well I hope this works because if it bricks my box I'll be sh*t outa luck because I have no idea how to recover from that.
  14. Would this apply to the X96 Max+ also?
  15. All you have to do is boot up with the usb drive again and run this command mmc bootpart enable 1 1 /dev/mmcblk2 That will/should fix the booting issue. It did on mine. That's not really helpful to newbies.
  16. Not a clue as the whole point is to use armbian. However I would assume so since the default rom supported Gbit for ethernet and WiFi.
  17. I don't know if this helps but I got this... root@arm-64:root# udevadm info /sys/bus/sdio/devices/* | paste P: /devices/platform/soc/ffe03000.sd/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0:0001/mmc0:0001:1 L: 0 E: DEVPATH=/devices/platform/soc/ffe03000.sd/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0:0001/mmc0:0001:1 E: OF_NAME=wifi E: OF_FULLNAME=/soc/sd@ffe03000/wifi@1 E: OF_COMPATIBLE_0=brcm,bcm4329-fmac E: OF_COMPATIBLE_N=1 E: SDIO_CLASS=07 E: SDIO_ID=024C:C822 E: MODALIAS=sdio:c07v024CdC822 E: SUBSYSTEM=sdio E: USEC_INITIALIZED=8387683 E: ID_SDIO_CLASS_FROM_DATABASE=WLAN interface
  18. Ok... keep me posted on it. Would really like to get WiFi and BT working. Been searching all over the place for solutions but no luck so far.
  19. I'm looking for the same thing and also to get WiFi working on my box. Ethernet is working though.
  20. BTW I never got my console screen resolution fixed so I just use vnc instead which does work.
  21. Has anyone gotten bluetooth or wifi to work on this? I am using the X96 Max Plus box.
