Hello, I want to use nano pi neo2 as a compiler server (for picture rendering with "Blender") Is it possible to forward X11 via ssh ? What img must I use to do this ? (I don't know if server bionic is suitable to do this) Best Regards, Boris

I use my own enclosure (and I will not change) so I try to keep thermal settings back, if someone knows how to downscale DDR reduce CPU number and Freq on a NanoPi neo (like in the 3.4.113 kernel for example with h3consumption), it should be great ^^^^^

Thank you for your answer Guidol, I wget the latest h3consumtion script (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/armbian/build/master/packages/bsp/h3consumption) thanks to tkaiser, but it does not fits to Nano Pi Neo. I used armbian-config instead to successfully change processor consumption, but temperature is too high. Reduce the DDR clock is really what I need. I modified script.bin thanks to you,. Thank for your help I added "dram_clk=360" to uboot environment with armbian-config but it does not seems to decrease the temperature.

Mmm I'll do my best, hope the next generation of box will have more success to my customers and then I could do that.

Hello, I am on a nano pi neo, I get an optical input with an external usb audio card. I d'ont know how to use the onboard spdif as an optical input so is it possible to get the optical input of an usb card (wich I see with alsamixer) an output sound to the local analog output (I already can play sound on this output) ? Maybe a loopback or an audio software could helps.... Best Regards

Do Mpv memory increases when playing on a standard install with the latest armbian ? (I think it will be the same on any install) I must know if it is due to audio drivers before doing what you tell me to do. Can you please tell me what you see on your install ? Launch for example the following command line and check : mpv http://stream.radiohamburg.de/rhh-live/mp3-128/radiode/ & (it is not my prefered radio lol) And check with top command if memory increase indefinitly (just launch "top" after)

Mpv is a video and an audio player. Can you launch mpv (with a stream url) and watch memory status with top command Tido ?

I have the same problem with the latest kernel (updated an upgraded) Mpv memory starts from about 10% and increases about 0.1% each 15s and system crashes a few hours later. (I don't have the problem on my ubuntu PC) I am sure someone will find the solution :)))) Must I report a bug ? (I install latest kernel, update and upgrade, activate analog input with armbian-config and I play an url with mpv) I tried with moc but : Running the server... Trying JACK... Trying ALSA... Trying OSS... FATAL_ERROR: No valid sound driver! (I try to have a multiroom audio solution)
