  2. Question: does the so so WIFI is better with the LTS than the original Pi Zero?
  3. Gentlemen, I've spend time looking for the GPIO pinout for the Orange Pi Win I am using with Armbian. Specifically I would like to use SDA and SCL. Does Orange Pi publish some information on this subject? Thanks in advance for your information.
  4. Maybe you can try Volumio https://volumio.org/forum/volumio-orange-boards-t9692.html to check it is from the OS or from the card.
  5. Thanks Igor. I've done the USB solution to activate Wifi and now i can use Putty to play with it. Form factor is perfect for what I have to do but the Orange Pi Zero with H2+ has an horrible Wifi behavior, so I try with the H5 version. Thanks again Igor.
  6. Hello everybody and sorry to be sooo stupid. I used to play with Orange Pi Zero H2+ and there was RJ45: it allowed me to connect it via the LAN. Now, with the H5 version, there is no RJ45 connector. And there is no USB port. So how to gain access to this card to start configuration etc... ? Thanks in advance.
  7. Cant' exactly understand your question. Do you want to use the "TV OUT"? If yes, you have to add "tv" on the /etc/modules file and reboot. Do not forget: it is RCA or "composite" signal: usually on a TV the yellow RCA connector is for composite signal, the white for left audio channel and the red for right audio channel. Use an RCA connector and get tvout from pin 9 and GROUND from where you want. Use "tv" or "AV" or "Audio Video" on your TV.
  8. If we are about the wishlist, it would be really helpful to have access to I2S on the Zero.
  9. Sorry to borrow you with I suppose a basic question... I am not at home and I have to install an opz but the router here is managing address with 192.168.2.1 instead of 1.1... Please what I have to do on the opz to connect to the router? Sorry again for my lack of knowledge.
  10. Reading your messages it seems you have few little knowledge in computers and computer science. Maybe you would better to buy a Raspberry Pi and install Kodi on it: it will work with zero problem and you will save a huge amount of time. And also you would find with Raspberry more documentation and a huge community more patient than... https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/
  11. And Sylvain, if you like to be a pioneer you can go for this http://www.geekbuying.com/item/GeekBox-Open-Source-Cross-TV-BOX-Android-Ubuntu-Dual-Boot-4K-RK3368-Octa-Core-2G-16G-AC-WIFI-1000M-LAN-BT4-1-HDMI2-0-OTG-358067.html
  12. Why don't you use an SBC with GB LAN at low price around 20€ and a TV set box for 4K at 30€?
  13. More or less the same. I have a nice little project with retrorangepie and an old monitor for a bar, but I prefer die with my ideas instead of joining Facebook. Just the fact to write the word let me the impression my fingers are dirty. I have a BT gamepad working with Retropie and I want test it with retrorangepie on OPzero and it's beautiful composite output, perfect for an RF converter perfect for the antenna plug of the old monitor.
  14. Auto-answer mode "happy". I got the answer from diyaudio. parameter for the card is -o hw:CARD=snddaudio btw many many thanks for your all your invaluable job.
  15. Well I've spend few hours and now I am stuck... I've bought a 5102A card and connected with I2S on an Orange Pi One. Everything is ok as far I can understand (sudo speaker-test -twav -c2 -Dhw:1 produces sound on the output), but I cannot use the card with squeezelite (https://github.com/ralph-irving/squeezelite). Well I use a fresh Armbian Debian Jessie: ___ ____ _ ___ / _ \ _ __ __ _ _ __ __ _ ___ | _ \(_) / _ \ _ __ ___ | | | | '__/ _` | '_ \ / _` |/ _ \ | |_) | | | | | | '_ \ / _ \ | |_| | | | (_| | | | | (_| | __/ | __/| | | |_| | | | | __/ \___/|_| \__,_|_| |_|\__, |\___| |_| |_| \___/|_| |_|\___| |___/ Welcome to ARMBIAN 5.25 stable Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) 3.4.113-sun8i System load: 0.45 Up time: 25 sec Memory usage: 20 % of 494Mb IP: 192.168.1.140 CPU temp: 46°C Usage of /: 39% of 3.5G 1/ I can see the card: cat /proc/asound/cards 0 [audiocodec ]: audiocodec - audiocodec audiocodec 1 [snddaudio ]: snddaudio - snddaudio snddaudio 2 [sndhdmi ]: sndhdmi - sndhdmi sndhdmi 2/ I can really see it : aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: audiocodec [audiocodec], device 0: SUNXI-CODEC sndcodec-0 [] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: snddaudio [snddaudio], device 0: SUNXI-TDM0 snddaudio-0 [] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 2: sndhdmi [sndhdmi], device 0: SUNXI-HDMIAUDIO sndhdmi-0 [] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 squeezelite is seeing the snddaudio card: sudo /usr/bin/squeezelite-armv6hf -l Output devices: null - Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture) default:CARD=audiocodec - audiocodec, - Default Audio Device sysdefault:CARD=audiocodec - audiocodec, - Default Audio Device dmix:CARD=audiocodec,DEV=0 - audiocodec, - Direct sample mixing device dsnoop:CARD=audiocodec,DEV=0 - audiocodec, - Direct sample snooping device hw:CARD=audiocodec,DEV=0 - audiocodec, - Direct hardware device without any conversions plughw:CARD=audiocodec,DEV=0 - audiocodec, - Hardware device with all software conversions default:CARD=snddaudio - snddaudio, - Default Audio Device sysdefault:CARD=snddaudio - snddaudio, - Default Audio Device dmix:CARD=snddaudio,DEV=0 - snddaudio, - Direct sample mixing device dsnoop:CARD=snddaudio,DEV=0 - snddaudio, - Direct sample snooping device hw:CARD=snddaudio,DEV=0 - snddaudio, - Direct hardware device without any conversions plughw:CARD=snddaudio,DEV=0 - snddaudio, - Hardware device with all software conversions default:CARD=sndhdmi - sndhdmi, - Default Audio Device sysdefault:CARD=sndhdmi - sndhdmi, - Default Audio Device dmix:CARD=sndhdmi,DEV=0 - sndhdmi, - Direct sample mixing device dsnoop:CARD=sndhdmi,DEV=0 - sndhdmi, - Direct sample snooping device hw:CARD=sndhdmi,DEV=0 - sndhdmi, - Direct hardware device without any conversions plughw:CARD=sndhdmi,DEV=0 - sndhdmi, - Hardware device with all software conversions default:CARD=DAC - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - Default Audio Device sysdefault:CARD=DAC - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - Default Audio Device front:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - Front speakers surround21:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - 2.1 Surround output to Front and Subwoofer speakers surround40:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - 4.0 Surround output to Front and Rear speakers surround41:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - 4.1 Surround output to Front, Rear and Subwoofer speakers surround50:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - 5.0 Surround output to Front, Center and Rear speakers surround51:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - 5.1 Surround output to Front, Center, Rear and Subwoofer speakers surround71:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - 7.1 Surround output to Front, Center, Side, Rear and Woofer speakers iec958:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - IEC958 (S/PDIF) Digital Audio Output dmix:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - Direct sample mixing device dsnoop:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - Direct sample snooping device hw:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - Direct hardware device without any conversions plughw:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 - USB AUDIO DAC, USB Audio - Hardware device with all software conversions note: I have connected an USB PCM 2704 seen as USB Audio 3/ I can hear it: sudo speaker-test -twav -c2 -Dhw:1 But I cannot understand what I have to do to be able to use it with squeezelite: When I use the USB DAC it is working with the following line: sudo /usr/bin/squeezelite-armv6hf -o front:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 -s 127.0.0.1 Trying with the I2S card, I cannot understand why it is not working: sudo /usr/bin/squeezelite-armv6hf -o default:CARD=snddaudio,DEV=0 -s 127.0.0.1 [14:25:12.853752] test_open:277 playback open error: No such file or directory [14:25:12.854570] output_init_common:382 unable to open output device Well I am stuck here, please could you help? Thanks in advance.
  16. Well I cannot understand the logic of this. For example, on the screen proposed by Igor here: I can see a torrent for "Armbian_5.25_Orangepiplus2e_Debian_jessie_default_3.4.113.7z" And if I go to the page https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-zero-2-h3/ or the "secret" Other Download page here https://dl.armbian.com/orangepizeroplus2-h3/ I cannot see the debian download seen on the torrent. Does it means torrent are more up to date than the website pages ?
  17. I've got one sample. Is there anything I can do (with my little knowledge) to help about this card?
  18. Sorry if I miss something, but it seems debian is no more available for download on this page https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-zero/ Do you have any information please?
  19. Why not, but what I like on this forum, among other points, is the very clean and pure interface, without plenty of message that take 80% of the screen and let 20% for valuable information.
  20. I tried a lot of things with few OPZ cards, never seen this. You did not read enough carefully or misunderstood something.
