  1. Any idea why that UUID didn't match or didn't exist at all? When I check SD card on host Ubuntu it looks ok.
  2. 3. I found that UUID specified in armbianEnv.txt is wrong (???). I have no idea why this happened... One reason to come to my mind is that I mounted a Samba share to "armbian/build/output/images". I am going to try a new build without it. It seems like the problem didn't exist couple of days ago. -------------- ALERT! UUID=4dc850bc-ea4c-436a-8a3f-57793795e7a4 does not exist. Dropping to a shell! -------------- The image was created in Virtualbox. I never seen this before when I was making builds on the "hardware" host. I have attached serial port log. minicom.log
  4. 5. Ok, I finally got to understanding that this may happen due to bugs in custom code constructing file/dir paths.
  6. Can you review this, please https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/835
  7. ok, thank you point was to setup the path BEFORE the build framework's first start so that all that huge amount of data is downloaded to correct place.
  8. Hello guys I recently moved my build into VirtualBox in order to protect my host's rootfs from potential corruption. Everything went ok, build is working fine. For my project I would like to share toolchains that Armbian has already downloaded on first start. Is it possible to customize the path where toolchains are stored so that I can point to a shared folder? Thank you
  9. Hi, zador.blood.stained, thank you, we can see bananapim1plus among boards now and it is possible to compile an image for it. But there is a minor issue: for some reason the board does not appear in user interface.
  10. Today happened again with exactly the same scenario.(((
  11. Dear maintainers, can you answer a simple question: which board should be selected in build menu for BananaPi M1+ ? I can see 2 options for A20 Soc : "bananapi" and "bananapipro" ? Which one is the preferred option ? Thanks
  12. Thank you! It worked with the following line in /boot/armbianEnv.txt : extraargs=drm_kms_helper.edid_firmware=HDMI-A-1:edid/640x480.bin video=HDMI-A-1:640x480-24@60
  13. That's interesting... I didn't make any modifications to drm. I didn't change the device tree either.
  14. Hey, Igor, can you help pleas with "next" 4.13.15 and OrangePi PC? Here is the log http://sprunge.us/FGJK What I see at boot is the logo for a minute and then black screen just after it. In dmesg I see something like this: [ 8.679626] sun8i-mixer 1100000.mixer: Couldn't get our reset line [ 8.679772] sun4i-drm display-engine: failed to bind 1100000.mixer (ops sun8i_mixer_platform_driver_exit [sun8i_mixer]): -517 [ 8.679778] sun4i-drm display-engine: Couldn't bind all pipelines components [ 8.679871] sun4i-drm display-engine: master bind failed: -517
  15. Hi, I confirm that "setenv video-mode" it not working with latest "next" and Orange Pi PC. So how can I set a smaller resolution ? I have 3.5 inch HDMI display with a totally crazy resolution and I can't see anything on it... I would like to ignore edid and set something like at least 640x480.
  16. Like I said before: sun8i I2S may(!!!) work only on limited number of codecs and only in cpu-master mode. That's what codekipper was promising when I talked to him. Here is my story: some time ago I strongly needed a stereo ADC in my project and I had Audioinjector sound card at hand http://www.audioinjector.net/rpi-hat. I tried to make it work with OrangePi PC. But it turned to be a huge problem because 1) it uses WM8731 codec + own xtal 12MHz and this dictates it to be a codec-master 2) it required to set BCLK ratio for cpu dai side ("set_bclk_ratio" method in Sound SoC API, which is not implemented in the driver) Finally it didn't work and I had no expertise to make it. At the same time you can easily use it on Rpi 3 because of full I2S support in Raspbery kernel.
  17. Yes I want to test SPI no matter from user- or kernel space. Thanks a lot for that link, I will check it.
  18. Hi, every one! have any of you guys tried to perform SPI loopback tests on any of existing boards ? I mean this driver code http://elixir.free-electrons.com/linux/v4.13.14/source/drivers/spi/spi-loopback-test.c. I tried to find any information on how to run tests but I completely failed to make it. It would be nice if someone shares a step-by-step instruction. Thanks a lot.
  19. Hello, guys, I am having some strange boot messages for my bananapi m2 running 4.13.14. They all are more or less device-tree related. May I ask you to look at it and give some comments ? 1) there is always a lot of messages like below, but WiFi is working fine: [ 10.801417] brcmfmac: brcmf_p2p_create_p2pdev: timeout occurred [ 10.801434] brcmfmac: brcmf_cfg80211_add_iface: add iface p2p-dev-wlan0 type 10 failed: err=-5 ....... 20. Did you try this ? http://free-electrons.com/blog/mali-opengl-support-on-allwinner-platforms-with-mainline-linux/ Not that I did but I am just curious if it is working or not..
