  1. exact same problem on nanopi m4 "next" branch. Need test last armbian version.
  2. After doing some tests. On the latest version 4.4, the hotspot is running and there is the virtual wifi. On the latest version 4.19, version 4.19.20 to a buggy hotspot and version 4.19.18 to a functional version (but without the virtual wifi networks). Version 5.0 RC5 at a functional hotspot.
  3. It's good I found my bug with the hotspot version 4.4 (branch "default"). It was a synchronization command from the RTC that crashed the rc.local script. Once the bug settles everything has become functional. By cons version "default" has a dual wifi card (a physics + a virtual) which is very convenient to have the hotspot and wifi connection. This feature is not present on the "next" version.
  4. Would someone have a solution for the hotspot? For the "next" version, the hotspot lights up, the dnsmasq service works but it is impossible to connect to it (driver problem?). For the "default" version, the hotspot is launched, but the dnsmasq service does not start at startup, if it is launched at the hands everything works.
  5. I find the problem. This is the dnsmasq service that does not want to start with the system despite the presence of the "service dnsmasq start" command in the rc.local file. I do not know where is the problem ??
  6. On the other hand with the hotspot on the 4.4, impossible to connect after restart. Need shut down hotspot and restart.
  7. i tested with "next" (4.49) and "default" (4.4) branch. same result.

    NanoPI M4

Hello. I would like to know if it is possible to access the 2x pcie missing on the nanopi-m4? Are the 4 USB 3.0 ports independent or 2x2 or all on the same hub? The usb type C is it OTG? Do you have a release date for the hat sata? It is very very interesting! (Currently I use the 2 socket 2.0 USB port). Thanks for the answers !

    NanoPI M4

I just acquired nanopi-m4. I'm shooting with the latest nightly version of ubuntu bionic. When I turn off the card I have 2 bugs. An image remains on the screen. The card warms up hugely without stopping. The heater becomes extremely hot after 1 to 2 minutes while the power supply remains connected.
  22. is it possible to add the nightly ubuntu version ? thanks
  23. I do not understand. Have you disabled CEC support in the new version?
