case 1) fan from upper , CPU temperature is 85 ~ 86 degreecase 2) fan from lateral side , CPU temperature is 75 ~ 76 degree
lateral is much better
without fan

odroid-c2 4 core -> 55 degree
nano pi M3 8 core ->85 degree

arm 16 core , 115 degree
only imagination
in fact odroid's 8 core ($79) has active cooling .

in japan , 10 yen coin ( about $0.1) is made by copper and is the cheapest material.
the best is silver coin .
are there coins made by copper in USA ?
and acryl plate is easily holed out with metal drill .

i am suprising your vast knowlege .
i only follow 'Install Cross Compiler' of

i finally underastand that nano pi M3 is 64bit hardware but the present OS is 32 bit .
surely nano pi M3 becomes hot and hot and suddenly reboot .
so i made the device which misses heat .
now there is no rebooting .Because it doesn't work easily, it's fascinating.
Because there is mystery, a detective story is read.
Because there is a mountain, it's climbed.so i think .

i install armbian into banana pi M1 .

and get sound from TV namely HDMI .
then i attach HDMI cable to sharp TV .

hi all .
i think sd card is much shorter life time and restricted size ( 64G ~ 128G and big size is too expensive ).
so as server , i like to use hard disk as root .
for this purpose , nand-sata-install.sh is excellent ( but too complex for me to understand ) .
i use nand-sata-install.sh on odroid-c2 armbian .
and on working armbian , i run next script .
( the timing to attach sdb is about 10~15 second later after armbian booting ) .
sda1 is cloned to sdb1 .

i see unixbench was outdated .
i want to mesure cpu speed not hard disk speed .
i do not know the tool .
Once upon a time there was super pi and i used it .
at present whic one is easy to do to measure cpu speed ?
orange pi PC with armbian is very tuned up and is fast and i think it may be faster than raspberry pi 3 with rasbian .
i think odroid-c2 must be fast considering its hardware .

solved .
" aptitude install pulseaudio " then youtube get sound from TV (hdmi ) .
but i donot know the reason .
in addition with arch linux on odoroid-c2 , even ' aplay -l ' cannot show any sound device.
perhaps linux on odoroid-c2 is not completed but developping state .
at present armbian is best choice for odroid-c2 users .

and iceweasel drops sometimes abruptly .
does iceweasel have problems ?

when i click 'audio mixer' , error message says that
GStreamer was unable to detect any sound devices.
Some sound system specific GStreamer packages may be missing.
It may also be a permissions problem.

hi all .
i got a old pandaboard only $20 by auction .
i expirienced RS232C conection to install freebsd & arch (fail to install openbsd ) .
RS232C is impressive to me .
i guess that the armbian developers usually use rs232c .
is it right ?

two green palates is the thing on which we use kitchin knife on .
it is easylly cut by scissors and holed out by electric drill and cheap only $1 .
