RagnerBG's procedure is beyond amature.
 
i only  do the followings on armbian of orange pi PC .
it takes long time (over 60 minites )

aptitude install  git  yasm  pkg-config

git clone git://source.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.git ffmpeg
cd ffmpeg
./configure
make
sudo make install

this procedure may lack something compared with RagnerBG's  because of too simplicity .

i nstall both minidlna and vlc .
 
i hear sound youtube from HDMI (iceweasel).
 
but
by vlc on armbian i can not hear normal sound from HDMI , only rarely get noise from HDMI .
(i  try audio  -> audio device , but no effect)

i think sd card is much shorter life time and restricted size ( 64G ~ 128G and big size is too expensive ).
so as server , i like to use hard disk as root .
for this purpose , nand-sata-install.sh is excellent ( but too complex for me to understand ) .
 
i use nand-sata-install.sh on odroid-c2 armbian .
 
and on working armbian , i run next script .
( the timing to attach sdb is about 10~15 second later after armbian booting ) .
sda1 is cloned to sdb1 .
 
clone-rsync-2-HDD-delete.bat
