I have an orange pi light I loaded two sd, one 16GB and one 32GB with "Armbian_5.35_Orangepilite_Ubuntu_xenial_default_3.4.113_desktop.img" I can not see any mistakes in the console: https://pastebin.com/HXyeQkjr I tried various resolutions. Still, the screen remains red and nothing appears.

This is based on the guide at http://linux-sunxi.org/Qt5_For_Mali_Binarieswith modification. 1. compile armbian (In my case Jessie without desktop) from source https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib 2. log in and edit /etc/modules-load.d/modules.conf add following line: 8189fs mali ump drm mali_drm sunxi_cedar_mod 3. Hello, When I flash the newest version of Armbian debian, and plug it into my Orange Pi Lite, nothing is displayed on my monitor, even if the led is green. My monitor is 4K LG display. With Debian, the HDMI output is not reconized. I tried with Armbian Ubuntu, and the instalation guide is displayed, but the edge and the bottom of the screen are cut. After one reboot, the screen is entirely black and I can't do nothing. Any help is welcome

Hello ! I know that there are already topic talking about that, but they didn't helped me. I have Armbian 5.38 Desktop. I plugged the camera, and I think it's on the right side: I followed instruction of Garlic here: Nevertheless, with motion I get a grey screen telling me that the camera is undetected: I noticed a very small impact on the cable after the delivery of the camera, but because it is very small, I don't think it's the cause. I don't understand, and any help is welcome. Thank you !

Hi, I need to use uart (for a gps receiver) and i2c (for some sensors) for my project via the gpio pins. Fortunately i2c is enabled in the images by default. I hope it is also enabled if I recompile armbian for the orangepi lite by default? Afaik I have to enable UART in the following file: https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib/blob/master/config/fex/orangepilite.fex . Unfurtunately I do not understand which pins on the gpio header correspond to the ports defined in this file. For example: Can I use UART on any pins on the gpio header? I would like to use UART on the same pins as in https://www.element14.com/community/servlet/JiveServlet/previewBody/73950-102-10-339300/pi3_gpio.png How do I do that?

Hello, I recently bought an Orange PI Lite and wanted to connect it to my WiFi (WPA2 - Personnal) to run a CUPS server. So I connected it to my computer via the serial pins and tried to connect it to my network using nmtui. That looked like it worked well if only a bit laggy at first. But after rebooting it i noticed it was totally unreachable from any other device on the network. So I started pinging everything and started noticing weird stuff : After a reboot Nothing can ping the orange pi unless he pinged them first. When pinging another device from the pi, the first few packets are lost and all following are ~1ms. I tried on another access point same results. I have tried with armbian 5.35-ubuntu and 5.37-debian same stuff happens. I really don't know what causes that. Nor what to do to fix it. I don't know what logs/config files might be usefull for that :/ Anyway, thanks for any help !

Hi i have orange pi lite board, i run :ARMBIAN 5.31 stable Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS 3.4.113-sun8i on this boards and works fine, but when I turn on the card there is no text in the hdmi output until it finishes loading the operating system, how i can configure the armbian to see the boot text?? i can see the boot text by USART port, but i want to configure by HDMI monitor. I've been having a rather odd issue with an entirely pink screen upon cold boot. I tried with Raspbian and it didn't occur there. This has actually prevented me from using the device at all now. When I first set it up, I was able to Ctrl C the setup stuff and type in reboot. When it rebooted, I was able to use it again. However, last night the Wifi completely died. I tried everything to revive it but it kept asking for the password repeatedly. Tried different networks, no luck. Figured power cycling might help. Bad idea. Now I can't SSH in to type in reboot, and I'm now permanently stuck on a pink screen. Doesn't matter if I replug the HDMI, use different monitors, etc. If there's a way to reboot without unplugging, that would be a good temporary fix.. but I'm a bit stuck. Using Armbian 5.35 OPi Lite Ubuntu Xenial Desktop 3.4.113 (latest I believe)

Hello everyone. I encourage you to write these lines after I spend all day reading and trying to solve the problem without success. Knowing that there are other many post about, I write this new that existing ones are already very old and refer to applications and concepts that no longer exist in the latest versions of ARMbian. The fact is that I bought a new OrangePi Lite with a new SDHC Clase10 (80MBs) SanDisk and basically not I connect to the WIFI 2.4 g connection of my house where work perfectly without any problems other Zero OPI and OPI PC + with ARMbian 5.35 Ubuntu. The summary problem is it asks me again the password and does not connect. (of course the password is correct). Expanding the information about the problem: -To this day (01 Dec 2017) to OPI LITE will install the latest version of the compilation of the RetrorangePi 4.1 using ARMbian 5.35 Ubuntu. Everything perfect until you try to configure the wifi by the usual channels: Failure through the execution of the Script in EmuStation. Failure through the X GUI. Failure through the virtual terminal with "nmtui" (Network Manager). Failure through the console with 'nmtui' mode. Same error for all, finds the correct SSID, asks password, takes a few seconds and returns to show you the window so that you put the correct password. Then after I thought it would be because of the distribution and tried more things. -I thought try the latest version ARMbian available at this time "5.35 ARMbian Ubuntu Xenial 3.4.113" in Server and Desktop versions with the same results. I already started to look for the Forum and try without success. -I have tested by discarding ARMbian 5.35 compilations Ubuntu and RetrorangePi 4.1 which correspond in the OPI PC + and have worked without incident, everything perfect. -Finally I've tried previous versions 5.25 ARMbian Ubuntu Server and Desktop and connect by GUI and Network Manager (nmtui) without problems. I could do: route -n ping 8.8.8.8 nslookup google.es I have also been able to navigate with firefox perfectly. i.imgur.com/cK24NcC.png Well, I think that may be enough. Hi, I have a problem with the wifi connection of the Orange Pi Lite when I connect a HDMI device and switch it on. It is not possible to get the wifi working. I have the same auth. error message like many others here too. But the wifi works well without HDMI device or when the device is off. I have tested the last debian and ubuntu server version and mainline. Thanks for helping

Hi, I am using orange pi lite. and loaded debian desktop.. it says it connected to wifi network. But I am trying to browse internet with chromium. It can't reach to the internet. it cant upload since there is no internet connection so I took pictures of reult of command armbianmonitor -U as much as I could. I have made a system with O Pi Lite and Armbian to automate an aquarium from where to control the light, the bubbles and with a webcam I can see the system through the web, everything automated from Cron. From a web page I can turn on and off the lights and bubbles from web buttons. Everything is fine. The problem arises when I want to put some phisical buttons for 3 things: turn off the system, change the state of light and bubbles. I have used a code in Python and the PYA20 library. This is the code. Hi, I am having doubts on how to use I2C ADS1115 unit on Orange Pi Lite. I already have I2C module and tools installed (see below). Thing is, where do I get the Phyton library to make use of it? Are there any examples? The other question is about wiring. Hello, I liked to have fixed MAC address to my Orange Pi lite. At the moment, after every boot I have different one. First of all, is there "real" MAC for this board? If there is, how the see it? Then what would be correct way to set static MAC, U-boot/Scribt.bin/ifconfig...? I am running Armbian 5.14 Jessie server.

Hi I am new in the forum and the happy owner (as of yesterday) of an Orange Pi Lite. Nice little board. I managed to install Armbian server, configure Wi-Fi upgrade and install apache / php and mrtg. I also was able to enable one wire protocol to play around with a DS18B20 thermometer. My idea is to create an automated garden watering system with nice stats (graphs) I already have a 4 channel relay board (to connect solenoid water valves), a DS18B20 to sense temperature, an LDR to graph sunlight hours and 4 hygrometers --moisture sensors--. Those I want to connect through an I2C ADS1115 ADC module (which I also already have). I have never done a project like this one so I will be searching the forums a lot and probably be asking silly questions. I also noticed that the H3 processor gets really hot even whithout heavy load, so I installed a small heat sink. Thank you for reading! Regards

Hello, I know there is documentation about it, but I think I've tried everything and my orange pi is still not displaying on my hdmi screen. The green LED is active, and the red one is blinking. I've written a Raspian image to the sd card, corresponding with the board. I have read about bin2fex but I can't have access to my sd card data on my Windows, to execute bin2fex. 8192cu.ko giving mac address as part of the interface name

After finally compiling the github 8188cu-fixed, blacklisting the old driver, I'm left with an interface name starting with lx and continuing with the mac address. I really need it to just say wlan1, so that I can use this sd-image for multiple orangepi-lite boards. Each usb wifi stick I plug in comes up with a different MAC address, hence the interface name changes accordingly. Example: One stick may have a MAC address 00-b6-56-0a-34-b2, and the interface ends up being called lx00b6560a34b2 I've had a look at the leading Ubuntu Xenial solutions, so far none of them work, mainly they use a grub based solution. Hope someone can help. -
