Would passive cooling be any good for OrangePi PC Plus? Or active cooling is better suited?

I'm running Chromium in kiosk mode in armbian using the following command: chromium 'http://localhost/' --window-position=0,0 --start-fullscreen --kiosk --noerrdialogs --disable-translate --no-first-run --fast --fast-start --disable-infobars --disable-features=TranslateUI --disk-cache-dir=/var/www/ --disable-pinch --overscroll-history-navigation=0 --disable-features=TouchpadOverscrollHistoryNavigation --enable-logging --v=1 --window-size=1366,768 However, I'm experiencing a blank page transition issue when navigating from one page to another (for example, from page 1 to page 2). I have tried using other browsers, and the issue doesn't occur. Additionally, when I access the localhost IP from my PC, I don't encounter the blank transition problem. Check this VIDEO

I switched mentioned pins to IN mode. And it is seems they are pulled up by default. +-----+-----+----------+------+---+-Orange Pi+---+---+------+---------+-----+--+ | BCM | wPi | Name | Mode | V | Physical | V | Mode | Name | wPi | BCM | +-----+-----+----------+------+---+----++----+---+------+----------+-----+-----+ | | | 3.3v | | | 1 || 2 | | | 5v | | | | 12 | 8 | SDA.0 | IN | 1 | 3 || 4 | | | 5V | | | | 11 | 9 | SCL.0 | IN | 1 | 5 || 6 | | | 0v | | | If physically connect that pins to the ground it shows 0 level. But I need it 0 by default. All other pins which are not related to I2C/TWI I can easilly pullup/pulldown, but these not. i2c0 is disabled in armbiaEnv.txt Thank you.

Seems like a reboot fixed the issue. the only other thing I did was to start alsamixer and made sure the line out was not muted. I setup Jammy 22.04 on an OrangePi PC + and trying to get sound to work with XFCE through the speaker jack. I get sound output through the speaker jack if I log in via the terminal and use speaker-test -t wav -c 2, but I get no sound in XFCE through the speaker jack. HDMI works. I configured Armbian on a mSD card and decided to try and move it to the eMMC. I used the nand-sata-install utility, All files from the mSD card are copied, and the last step fails. I get Error: no u-boot package found, exiting Any pointers?

I picked up an OrangePi PC Plus. I installed armbian Jammy which does not have the mt7921u driver. I would like to install the driver and was wondering the proper steps. I have done apt install linux-headers-current-sunxi cd /usr/src/linux-headers-5.15.93-sunxi make scripts Now is it a matter of grabbing the mn7921u source and compiling it? Thanks for any direction.

Hello, I am trying to port my developed module to the newest Armbian system. Once I had everything worked in very old Armbian developed in 2018 based on kernel 3.4. There is a hardware module connected via i2c1. When my program tries to communicate with it, it doesn't work and I get errors kernel: i2c i2c-1: mv64xxx: I2C bus locked, block: 1, time_left: 0 I've uploaded the diagnosis information to URL: https://paste.armbian.com/aciwalafah There was a problem also in Armbian 22.11 system. I upgraded it after found information about some solution for i2c probem with similar error messages. Please advise. Thanks.

Hello, Is there a guide / tutorial on making Kodi run with hardware acceleration enabled on Armbian on Orange PI PC Plus? e.g. like how LibreELEC does it. I have found a bunch of information on different sites and forums, but I can't put it all together. What I know so far: * Apparently the HW-accelerated decoding is supposed to be done on Kodi's side via VDPAU API * The Kodi build in Armbian repos does not have built-in support for libvdpau (?) * ffmpeg, the video decoding library used by Kodi, doesn't support Allwinner GPU out of the box and needs patching * Kodi needs to be re-compiled with the patched ffmpeg version

im using orange pi with armbian and i try to rotate display by seeting in boot/armbianEvt.txt fbcon=rotate:3 it only rotate the console message. but when i run startx (startx installed via sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends xserver-xorg x11-xserver-utils xinit openbox ) is still default mode not rotated It makes me angry to know that i have achieved it without any difficulty with a RaspberryPi 3 simply by adding display_rotate = X in /boot/config.txt and that there is no way for Armbian.

Hi, I have a few Orange Pi PC Plus using Armbian bulldog and have two questions / issues. its my 1st post and not sure where best to ask 1. I have a python program that starts on a service, this can take around 25 seconds to start, I would like sub 20, less than 15 would be fantastic but not sure what service's to remove. reading a few posts here, I have an svg log but unable to see how i can attach?. It boots from eMMC. The program uses USB, I2C and internal UART and wi-fi 2. on a few OPi the wifi will not work. if I type in "sudo iwlist wlan0 scan" it returns " no scan results" if I reboot, it finds this. I have a lot of OPi and some have a wifi issue so I would like to either see if I can reset/interface with the 818fs chip or see why it does not work. I have looked at dmseg and "lsmod | grep 8189sf" and nothing jumps out. Thanks in advance

Hello, fresh installed Armbian desktop OS detects attached HDMI display as full HD with correct resolution 1920x1080. But after some restarts it loads in u-boot with correct resolution and then, on kernel startup switches to 1024x768 and also desktop opens with this resolution without an option to increase it. The armbianEnv.txt file in /boot folder contains string disp_mode=1920x1080p60 and was not changed. Please advise.
