boot by small cheap 4GB sd card , run with big 250GB usb hard disk

I have a Armbian OPi.one and a Armbian.OPi.pc and I have found a 8GB mini sd Card fine to run some extra programs and do a bit of downloading etc.

 

I think your idea of 4gb even if it runs wont leave you any room for future stuff.

i have   the big space to save files ( about 217GB   ).

 

so my OPIpc will become media server by minidlna

becasue i watch the movies in OPIpc by TV's function of link ( TV  itself  utilize media server automatically when LAN is attached  ).

 

4GB sd card only spark armbian .

root is in 250GB usb hard disk .

 

without armbian i throw OPIpc into dustbox .

armbian is great .
