Armbian 5.88 Rockchip - Bluetooth not working

Recommended Posts

I just installed Armbian 5.88 for Rock Pi 4B and bluetooth is not working.

I'm using ARMBIAN 5.88 stable Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.4.180-rockchip64

Do you need further information?

Got it working without compiling the new kernel. i manually ran the last steps of https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/master/config/sources/rockchip64.conf

and copied rk3399-bluetooth.service and brcm_patchram_plus_rk3399 onto the device and set up the service... after a reboot Bluetooth is working fine.

Thats great!

IIRC BT was fixed ... You can try to make image from sources or wait for next release. Make sure to install bluez package if you tend to use BT in CLI

P.S.
You need to have 5 posts to be able to write in developers parts of the forum.

not sure but I assume it was solved for mainline.. The 4.4 kernel for the RockPi didn't get much love.. :D

Anyway.. the board is WIP so errors are expected.

Those two might be interested:

Also a template - which we already have - with some additional select box could be implemented.

Exactly, but somehow we need to limit down repeated questions.
