Joep
Can anyone recommend a usb adapter that works with Armbian on Rock64 wifi access point/hotspot. I tried a few I had but none work as access point. Thanks

Joep
I looked at the list. It doesn't look like these are available on the US market. I was thinking they may not work here

Chip is important - its also written below. Seek for RTL8811 RTL8812 RTL3572 ... This will work https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FCNP2VL/ref=emc_b_5_t for example. If you need something more powerful ... https://www.amazon.com/Alfa-AC1900-WiFi-Adapter-Long-Range/dp/B01MZD7Z76

My personal favorite is the Alfa AWUS036NHA - aka the "black alfa" - very good wifi, and a very fun adapter as the drivers for it are in the kernel mainline, so it's basically plug and play... Atheros (and Qualcomm) gave a great gift to the FOSS community by opening up the driver source, so it's a great hacker card. They're a little spendy - $38USD on the Amazon US site
