MaheenHanann
Hi all, I got my hotspot working via armbian-config but I can't seem to edit the rules using ufw. Trying to block port xyz, any ideas how?

MaheenHanann
Hi Igor, Tried this, doesn't work. All traffic seems to go in and out from the device connected to the AP
Igor
This is just a how-to use ufw and works if properly configured. Check manual, example and try again.
MaheenHanann
Hi Igor, I found the issue, the reason why UFW and the armbian-config AP doesn't work well when rules are added is because to allow forwarding the DEFAULT_FORWARD_POLICY must be set to ACCEPT in /etc/ufw/sysctl.conf which allows ALL traffic to pass through without being affected by the firewall. I think for the armbian-config AP mode to work with UFW, bridging might be needed. Thanks, Maheen
