Hey everyone...

I have an Orange pi zero Plus2 h5. The SD card load and boot is working fine.

However, i just realized i have no way to connect a keyboard  and mouse to it to finish the setup.

Is there a way around this like possibly inserting the armbian formated sd card into a linux system and changing config files??

If not, how can i attach a usb port to it??

Thanks.

The orange pi zero Plus2 h5 does not have onboard USB port:

I cant get the expansion port in Egypt.

Sorry - my fault. The Plus2 isnt the Zero from the Zero Pinout-Picture - so no USB onboard, but the onboard Pinout is the same.

OK, then try to get USB-Extension cable and cut it in the middle to get the female USB-A Port

or cut a USB-Header cable for a Desktop PC

and connect it to the connector on the Plus2:

5V                 ==> VCC
GND                ==> Ground
USB-DP2 or USB-DP3 ==> Data+
USB-DM2 or USB-DM3 ==> Data-

Use together USB-DP2 & USB-DM2 for USB-Port No.2

Use together USB-DP3 & USB-DM3 for USB-Port No.2

5V and GND is the same for both ports.

Is there a way around

Yes there is. It's called serial gadget console. Power the board via mUSB/computer and a standard serial console will showed up when the system is up. Works on Windows and Linux.
