Which image exactly? We fixed this problem, but if you used update to get here it might not work yet.

Thanks Igor for your response!

I have got it work on olders images:

https://dl.armbian.com/_old/orangepioneplus/archive/Armbian_5.90_Orangepioneplus_Debian_buster_dev_5.1.15.7z

https://dl.armbian.com/_old/orangepioneplus/archive/Armbian_5.90_Orangepioneplus_Ubuntu_bionic_dev_5.1.15.7z

but if i do apt upgrade or use the latest images, the ethernet does not work.

DEV versions were never supported ... its normal that lots of things doesn't work (properly) there.

True.

Image has been recreated and tested. Network works now: http://ix.io/26pb

super glad i saw this thread! thanks to some cosmically bad luck, i happened to make contact with two pins while my One+ was booted up - upon reboot, my ethernet no longer worked.

this was about a month ago, and i've been super annoyed at myself, as this is not my first board i've accidentally killed (i have 3dprinted some gpio header covers since - they are super handy)

long story short, i got bored this weekend, figured i'd see what happens if i tried to boot the one+ up - flashed an old image i had onto an sd card (bionic server/5.1)

...and to my surprise, it appeared when i pulled up the list of connected network devices!!!!

i was a bit puzzled, but this looks like a clue. maybe i merely shorted the pins and caused a reboot, a reboot that had pending updates with ethernet-jack issue.

anyways i noticed that the images have officially received support status, so i am currently torrenting buster/5.4 but i wanted to post and confirm that ethernet connectivity is working for me currently - i've got it booted up and tunneled via ssh.
