Topic: USB 3.1 Type-C (thunderbolt 3) as a multi port usb HUB Regards: (newer phones, laptops, sbc, routers etc?) Armbian / u-boot capable devices that currently can be powered by a type-c 3.1 Reason: ? Any thoughts on what someone would like to do with one of these? Reply with thoughts please! My thoughts: Armbian / and or Openwrt + the 8in1 adapters = OTG FTW Use Armbian core or friendlylywrt to plug n play managed "smart" scripts. Diy, router / switch managed or one script make an unmanaged transparent bridge with / tap o /SPAN / aka mirror port.... Holy shit its a freakin HUB! I think its a basically a raspberry pi zero sized board with the chip/mod for passive networking via type-c host controller. With some freaking amazing chips.
