Installing to Sata/USB

Hi,

 

I'd like to install to USB storage as the eMMC card I have is quite small. As stated in the documentation https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Getting-Started/#how-to-install-to-emmc-nand-sata-usb

 

It appears to be quite simple but my question is, I already have everything installed and running, with the software I need etc. Will this pose an issue or should I re-flash and do it straight away?

You should make a backup of your current system in any case so there is not much to loose if you run into issues.

Thanks, I will do so. But do you know if the process should "in theory" mess up with anything? Honestly, I only have docker and loads of containers running, that's pretty much it.

I never had a chance to use the script myself but I did not hear much bad things about it. So I guess it will be try'n'error like it is often with ARM stuff .
