I managed to install Armbian Focal Legacy Minimal on my MXQPro-RK3228A without any problem, but only the HDMI video output works. Has anyone managed to use the analog output? My installation does not have u-boot. The boot configurations are in armbianEnv.txt.

Do you mean that you don't see the analog audio output device or the output is going to HDMI by default?

Didn't try recently, but all the three audio devices (HDMI, SPDIF and Analog) should be all there.

Depending on your application, you may need to change ALSA or Pulseaudio output device.

Output of aplay -L and aplay -l can be useful, you may also try alsamixer and see if analog audio is available and unmuted.

Just tested, it worked flawlessy.

If you're using from command line you may want to add:

defaults.pcm.card 2
defaults.ctl.card 2

to /etc/asound.conf to make the analog the default

Hi @jock

In fact, audio output is ok for composite with anyone:

Option 1: In /etc/asound.conf:

defaults.pcm.card 2

defaults.ctl.card 2

Option 2: In MPV with option: --audio-device=alsa/default:CARD=ANALOG

But I can't get the video output via composite, it only works via HDMI.

Thanks
