pbies
I am observing huge difference in samba speed (both ways to/from PC on Gigabit Ethernet) with Rock Pi 4B. Earlier I had Debian and Ubuntu provided by Radxa and recently speed has gone from 115 MB/s to ~12 MB/s. I moved to Armbian which is currently available for download. Before any updates I had 115 MB/s transfer speed. When I updated to Armbian 20.08.11 Focal with Linux 5.8.15-rockchip64 the speed has go down to ~15 MB/s. The bigger change that happened was kernel upgrade. I exclude problems like: PSU (it is over enough), home network (nothing has changed) and SSD speed (checked - 330 MB/s). Has anyone else also observed limited speed recently?
pbies
There was unneeded line in /etc/samba/smb.conf: ; socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_LOWDELAY SO_KEEPALIVE SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192
