Bondy
Hi What is the appropriate method to upgrade to a new release (20.11) without reimaging the SD card? I have not attempted this before as I have mainly used Ubuntu which provides sudo do-release-upgrade Note I am not using a VM or Docker. Can I upgrade the kernel using the downloaded Helios64 image? sudo apt install ./linux-image-<flavour> Is there a way to do it using armbian-config (like there is for raspi-config) Or do I need to download the armbian source and then compile ./compile.sh

I rebooted after doing this, but I'm not sure that you need to.
Bondy
Thank you for replying, I was previously under the impression that apt-get dist-upgrade did not upgrade the kernel. I thought it was the same as apt-get upgrade except that it also installed and deleted packages to satisfy dependencies. Greetings
