Hanni3al
I just updated my armbian kernel, I did it with: apt-cache search linux-generic to find the images and sudo apt-get install name of the image to install, the new kernel is in the /boot folder but if I restart It continues to start with the old one, and if I eliminate the old one it no longer starts. How do I select the new kernel to boot from it? i use orangepi+2e Edited December 8, 2020 by Hanni3al
Werner
Providing logs with armbianmonitor -u helps with troubleshooting and significantly raises chances that issue gets addressed.

Debian (generic) kernels will work bad if at all. If you want to update to latest working (different) kernel use armbian-config -> system -> alternative kernels ... if you want to use generic kernels, you are anyway on your own. Why would you want to do that anyway?
