First aid:
https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Recovery/

For break free automotive pro grade Linux, IMHO at least two full time positions at those Armbian sub-projects:

https://github.com/armbian/mpads (hw development, support, maintenance)

https://github.com/armbian/autotests (QA testing)
are needed. But we can't afford that luxury ...

What can i do now? Always use kernel 5.9.14 and older?

Freeze kernel (in armbian-config or manually) and wait. We don't know why this problem occur and I can't tell you when we will be able to look why this is happening. It can take a day, a week, months.

Armbian project is also a product of our personal time. Just saying what is the cost to be (almost / close to) free of breakdown surprises. I have many boards running just to be aware of those problems before we put out a release ...

Because I work too much on community software development, I don't find time to maintain my own home automation any more :( Its ofc running Armbian but some other board which don't have problems in this upgrade.

I understand this and do not demand anything from you. I admire what you do. I deal with most problems myself and ask for help only with what is not available to me. Recently I myself was engaged in support of some products and I understand that for problems it is better to contact those who are involved in support. I would like to help you, but I read your development topics and I understand that my knowledge is not enough.

Sorry for google translate.

We usually just seek average reasonable open minded person with some background. That have time and desire to take some of the work in the common interest, things that are admirable, perhaps learn something new. Anyway, no worries. :)
