Blank X screen after reboot Orange Pi PC

Armbianmonitor:

Hi,

I've just wrote today's latest image for my Orange Pi PC: Armbian_21.02.1_Orangepipc_focal_current_5.10.12_desktop

At first boot, I am asked to make my user and everything is fine and I end up in the XFCE desktop. All works fine.

Then, I reboot the system. I see it booting and when X is starting, the screen goes blank (all black).

If I do Ctrl+Alt+F1, I can log in in text mode, but X shows nothing.

Thank you for your hard work on Armbian!

Hi,

First of all, it seems my ix.io has a typo, it is 2P1B, not 2PIB.

I understood what happens. It seems like I receive a bad update, breaking something in X or XFCE.

If I start from zero and get to the desktop, it works fine to reboot and get to the desktop again.

But, as soon as I go in Synaptic and I do the 3 top buttons (Reload, Mark updates, Apply updates, something like that...), then, I will

not get anything else than a blank screen in X.

I have no idea if the problem is on Armbian side or if it is Ubuntu who is providing a broken update...

I tested to do the same thing on my 64 bit Orange Pi PC 2 and I do not have the problem.

Thank you!

-Alexandre
