Power conservation on orange pi zero

Hi,

 

Working on a project that will manage and monitor batteries from a solar installation and wanting to see how low I can reduce its power consumption.

Out of the box consumption is approx. 480mWatts.

Currently using  Armbian 21.05.8 Buster 

Don't need:

USB

WiFi

Any display output

and Only need eth0 for possibly 10 mins a day.

Any suggestion on how to power down specific components such as above?

 

Interestingly shutdown via the command line increase the power consumption to around 700mW??

Thanks for the prompt reply...I would have replied sooner but I'm limited to one post per day. :-(

 

Read a few different threads from the link above, but no mention of what others have been able to achieve in power saving to benchmark myself from.

 

But from the link did see  https://forum.armbian.com/profile/5364-paddlestroke/ asking sort of similar questions. Hence will reach out to him, subject to my quota allowance. :-(

 

Anyway if anyone else can shed some light on power conservation, welcome your feedback.
