Just a shot in the dark: Does rebooting work without serial console connected?

I do not understand how serial console may interfere with read flash, but I checked out without serial console connected does not work.

Please read the last 2 paragraphs in the UART chapter: http://linux-sunxi.org/Pine64#Serial_port_.2F_UART

We also had various clock/calibration issues that might be related to stuff like that. Anyway: I would upgrade Armbian (apt-get upgrade), then try again and if that doesn't help try another SD card (recommendations and procedure to choose AND TEST prior to using a card exist)

This is a bit different but similar. How to boot after shutdown on OPI PC Plus? It seems I need to unplug the device before the start button works (or maybe it doesn't work at all and resetting power reboots?).

The power button is only there to wake from suspend, you would need to add a reset switch (or a physical switch disconnecting DC-IN completely)

I now test other two 8G sdcard, nothing has changed the problem persists, I can not understand what exactly I need to disconnect, as I have is connected only serial and eth (photo https://yadi.sk/i/GMJEPJ_QuVyFh)

Another shot in the dark (since you seem to be the only one with this phenomenon and struggle with just one Orange Pi PC -- always the same SD card slot used -- and only Armbian). You could try to use a thin peace of paper to get more pressure in the SD card slot (yeah, no idea what's different on cold vs. warm boot -- still 'shot in the dark' mode) or loboris' Ubuntu Mate image for OPi PC.

The one approach tries to improve hardware (contacts in SD card slot), the other tries to get a clue whether different u-boot versions make the difference (Armbian uses mainline u-boot, nearly all other Orange Pi OS images an outdated u-boot version from 2009 which boots differently).

And another shot in the dark: DRAM problems, please read through http://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic/1322-testers-wanted-testing-dram-reliability-on-bpi-m2-and-nanopi-m1/?view=getlastpost (would then be the combination of a cold vs. warm boot issue with unreliable DRAM calibration that leads to u-boot failing to read from SD card). Since this is very unlikely please give a loboris image a try before (different DRAM calibration in this old u-boot version there)
