TvBox X96 mini 4G/32G donate to Children Schools

Good evening everyone,

I bought 10 x96mini TvBoxes to give / donate to schools in my city.

I wanted to install Armbian Ubuntu but I couldn't start it, one of the many guides is the following:

When I hold down the reset button it does not boot and the x96 mini screen does not appear, what can it be? I have tried several sign but without success.

I hope you can help me to give these minipcs to children.

I have encountered this problem and it drove me nuts.

 

First, you have to flash the Android TV firmware back to the stock original firmware. Using 2 side USB cable ( you can diy it, cut and connect the wire) and Usb burnning tool.

 

The X96 unit when shipped, some reseller/dis flash custom android TV on it, and it caused the boot problem.

You have chosen a very bad equipment for a gift. Such equipment will do more harm than good.
