Upgrading the linux kernel for Rock Pi S (RK3308) breaks boot

Hello,

I have installed the Armbian image for Rock Pi S (https://www.armbian.com/rockpi-s/) released 19th of October 2022 on my Rock Pi S and it boots fine. However, if I update the linux kernel (using apt-get install linux-dtb-edge-rockchip64 linux-image-edge-rockchip64) this breaks the image and it will be stuck on starting kernel the next time I reboot. These packages are not installed automatically, but are listed as kept back. However, since they break the system they should maybe not be possible to install.
