WIZARD Posted February 5, 2023 Share Posted February 5, 2023 (edited) Hi new here i am trying to run Armbian on a Kingnovel X10 MAX TV box these are the common as muck $40/£40 TV boxes called the x10 max you see all over ebay, now I cannot use termux to build this dtb tried it fails to make the file and I my self other than being able to copy and paste text know nothing about how to make it, I have however recently made a spare one of these X10 MAX TV boxes with a bad nand into a Arcade system using this file dtb sm1_s905x3_2g.dtb in the device tree folder of emuelec on an SD card for this X10 MAX S905X3 chipset box it actually has 4gb ram but the 2gb file is what works for emuelec, now all I need is a way to run linux using Armbian maybe other linux builds if someone can build a dtb file for us X10 MAX owners please I would and others would be eternally gratful for your help, thank you in advance. WIZARD Posted February 7, 2023 Author Share Posted February 7, 2023 The firmware file that is a custom rom i currently use for this device is found on this website page if you click the drop down menus open in the images provided you can find all firmwares for this TV box they are stock V1 motherboard (the device I use presently as a daily device) and the revision two (v2 board model) there are stock official firmwares and the custom slimboxtv firmwares in those links to download directly. All i would like is the Armbian built for the V1 motherboard please if it's even possible i can't get my head around what needs to be done and do not have linux to do it all with regarding rebuilding or tinkering with image files etc and zero experience in any building of images and roms only writing them to sd and devices using flash tools that it.
