I really like armbian jessie desktop but I prefer ubuntu based distros. I find an xenial image from the armbian site and install-upgraded. Then I installed lubuntu-desktop. Looks very good seems very fast and smooth but I can't listen musics with audacious. Sound comes distorted and laggy. What can I do to get armbian desktop quality playing video and mp3 files. Igor Posted November 2, 2016 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Our desktop and few apps are optimized to make use of hardware acceleration. The easiest and a proven way is to use our prebuild desktop. It's possible to make an upgrade from CLI image but it requires some manual tweaking at this point. BTW. Next official desktop builds will be Ubuntu Xenial.
