DanielV
Hello everyone! it is possible to make dual-boot between Armbian and a Android custom rom on Orange pi pc (h3)? I have only a sandisk extreme 64gb U3. I haven't other cards where to put Armbian and Android separated. Thanks in advance!

martinayotte
U-Boot is not currently supporting that, although maybe with new FIT functionalities developed by APritzel could bring that possible in the future.
zador.blood.stained
While it's possible in theory, it's not supported in practice. Armbian for H3 relies on mainline u-boot and SPL, so unless you can properly chainload one u-boot from the other or manage to load legacy kernel + script.bin from the legacy u-boot, you won't be able to easily switch between the systems. jernej
I think that KotCzarny from IRC (#linux-sunxi @ freenode) managed to boot Android (compiled by him) using mainline U-Boot. However, HDMI needed some special kernel command line option to be set in U-Boot in order to work. I'm not sure if just any Android version would work. Additionally, you would need HDMI patches for U-Boot and enable boot selection user interface in build config file. It is doable but not something I would like to spent time on.
