olekvi
Hello I received my first OrangePi today, a Zero, and I'm a bit lost. Installed armbian xenial, upgraded to beta/dev and installed dev kernel as documented. (working!) But after this upgrade only one CPU core is in use. I've searched, and think my problem may be uboot, can anyone point me in the right direction? (is there a working 4.x kernel with quadcore support?) Thanks! olekvi
A short follow up; I've updated to the latest daily kernel every day after success, and everything I've tried are working as expected. Great job guys!
Neophyte
Hello! I have exactly the same issue on a different setup: Orange PI+ 2e on Armbian Debian Jessie. I need to switch to a more recent kernel because of docker. May there be a solution as well for Jessie? Thanks in advance!

Follow this page: http://www.armbian.com/kernel/ AFAIK these packages should be enough: linux-image-dev-sun8i linux-firmware-image-dev-sun8i linux-dtb-dev-sun8i

If you are using the beta repository you can remove bootm_boot_mode line from /boot/armbianEnv.txt to fix this.
Neophyte
You made my day ... that worked - Thanks! Which image should I have installed instead, as there are no nightly builds for my system: https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-plus-2e/#nightly

Neophyte
Is that possible for Jessie, too?
zador.blood.stained
2 minutes ago, Neophyte said: Is that possible for Jessie, too? Xenial package base is newer than Jessie one, so it's preferred for the tests, and we usually don't add more image targets than needed for testing to conserve resources. You can always build your own image if you need: https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib
