gailu Posted January 31, 2017 Share Posted January 31, 2017 Hi Experts, I was using Armbian image (Armbian_5.24_Orangepizero_Debian_jessie_3.4.113.img) on orange pi zero without any issue for 3-4 weeks. I connected a speaker to LINEOUTL and suddenly my Armbian image became very unstable during boot it hangs at random places and some time crashes. May I know if Armbian Images on orange pi zero tested successfully (booting process) when LINEOUTL is connected to a speaker ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Igor Posted January 31, 2017 Share Posted January 31, 2017 Current testing methods are already resource hungry even we don't test every possible thing, which could be attached to the pins. Perhaps speaker draws more current, than it's possible / allowed and / or your PSU is simply not giving it enough. Power problems = no 1. reason for crashing and instabilities.
