We don't know exactly how and which eMMC are having this problem and which don't ...  we asked Hardkernel folks for helping with this - they made adjustment to the eMMC driver. We wait for info ATM.

I noticed something:

last night i did a clean install of https://dl.armbian.com/odroidc2/Debian_jessie_default.7z

when i did:

 

lsblk:

mmcblk0     179:0    0 116,5G  0 disk
└─mmcblk0p1 179:1    0 114,2G  0 part /

 

the boot partition was the same as root

 

before i was using the image:

Armbian_5.21_Odroidc2_Debian_jessie_3.14.79.img and  upgraded to 5.25 via apt-get upgrade.

and than there was a boot partion

lsblk

mmcblk0     179:0    0 116,5G  0 disk
└─mmcblk0p1 179:1    0 114,2G  0 part /

─mmcblk0p1 179:1    0 60M  0 part /boot
 

Could this be the problem?
