You find several reports on the forums that slow random IO also slows down Transmission & Co. NaTa5 Posted August 26, 2017 Author Share Posted August 26, 2017 hi for some reason iozone -a -i 2 gives me "Error reading block at 12288 read: Success" on emmc and hdd ( i guess i only need to cd in HDD mnt folder to test the hdd) not only on torrents , but also wget and moving files with samba On windows it works as it should (about same speeds i get with benchmark in the board wich is great) its formated in ntfs if it helps i didnt test another hdd (im really tired will do it tomorrow) thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Piv Klit Posted February 26, 2018 Share Posted February 26, 2018 Because you lan is running 100Mbps ? = 10MB/s (actually 12.5MB/s) So I think you are confusing bits and bytes. 1 Mbps = 0.125 MB/s USB3 wont get you anywhere since the board only supports USB2.
