Armbian on Sunvell R69 (Allwinner H2+)

SES

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon!

Who started Armbian on Sunvell R69?

I ran it with the settings of beelinkx2.bin. There is no Wi-Fi and the processor heats very much, more than 77. We had to reduce the maximum frequency to 1008 mhz and memory to 408 mhz.

With settings orangepizero.bin I immediately get a problem with the video.

Does anyone have the necessary settings for the Sunvell R69

Thank you.

I try  Beelink X2 Ubuntu desktop – legacy kernel image with my R69 and as described in Igor's link, and everything went fine (HDMI, Ethernet, Emmc disk, USB).

Same issue as described on reboot (need to unplug).

I did not even try to check wifi.

High temperatures reported by armbianmonitor (66-68 °C) two minutes after boot (case reversed upside down).

Next step, using Debian Jessie install on emmc and migrate my Domoticz setup from OrangePi PC.

Same temperatures also here :) Did use the "server" version...

I'm an absolute linux ignoranti, so identifying emmc name... (and now it's system disk).

For temperature,  after installing system on emmc and disabling hdmi, I stay within 54-60 °C range (24 °C ambiant)

Well, then it was not brought up by u-boot :)

Try to u-boot for Orangepi Zero 2+ H3

https://beta.armbian.com/pool/main/l/linux-u-boot-orangepizeroplus2-h3-default/

You will need to remove current u-boot before installing this. dpkg -r linux-u-boot-orangepizero or whatever the name of the pkg is.
