cubieboard 5?

Hi,

I own a cubitruck since years and since month armbian is installed on it.

 

Now I have just ordered a cubieboard 5. Will armbian also working on thso device ??

(I know, that there was the same question, but it was two years ago and I hope there armian will support now)

There will be some, perhaps even decent mainline support. But not exactly "today". Last time I was checking A83T(H8) it still lacks support in many areas, but board boots. (Bananapi M3) Stock Allwinner kernel (probably) works somehow, but it is too old, presumably in a bad shape and not interesting.

However, we will not support this board directly (we don't have resources), but .csc build target might appear once support gets to the decent level.

OK, thx,than I will have to use a different debian ROM. There are some for this board
