Where this script coming from ?

On OrangePiPlus2E, the "online" is found in this path /sys/devices/system/cpu/online , giving "0-3" value to tell that all core are online ...

h3consumption utility?

Since we don't have logs I can only suspect that this is some very old image (5.14 or older) with this util running upgraded to mainline. This script can be safely removed since it doesn't do anything.

I bought this board as soon as it appeared and immediately set up an Armbian. After that, I just updated the regular means.

Good. It's nice to hear that it survived all the way :) This minor trouble. Remove the script and once consider to start via clean image and move to Debian Stretch. Jessie is not maintained any more.

But this script isn't only for Legacy ?

It should not been able to run on ARMBIAN 5.70 4.19.13-sunxi orangepiplus2e or it will print the following :

This tool requires legacy kernel on H3 devices. Exiting.

Yes, but once there was a kernel 3.4.y on this image and installed utility for manipulating consumption ... once kernel was upgraded, we got error.

Thank you very much for your work and help.

I have now Debian Stretch.
I have to delete the file /usr/local/bin/sun8i-corekeeper.sh and remove line from /etc/rc.local ?
